Rosehill Gardens  is a Sydney racecourse and is the main racing venue in the West of the city.

Near Parramatta, Rosehill Gardens was the major course of the Sydney Turf Club before its merger with the Australian Jockey Club in 2011.

Racing has been conducted at Rosehill since the 1880s when land owner John Bennett purchased the site to construct a racecourse and recreation area. The first race meeting at Rosehill was held in 1885.

The course proper is 2048m in circumference with a home straight of 408m. It is mainly a triangular track, however the 1100/1200m races jump from a chute up the middle of the track. 1500m events leave from the back of the track around the outside of the course and middle distance races from the side and staying races in the home straight....
