The Robbie Griffiths-trained filly Undoubtable Miss, who showed promise with seconds at her first two starts, impressed in winning here. She settled in fourth place, one out and one back, before improving nicely approaching the home turn. She challenged at the 200m, got to the front at the 100m and then drew clear to win well. Danger Deal was caught wide without cover in fifth spot from his outside barrier (9). He moved up, widest of all, at the home turn, challenged at the 200m and then fought well for a good second after a wide trip. The favourite Spoils raced outside the leader (Khitaamy), briefly got to the front nearing the 200m and then held on nicely for third.
