Racing & Sports expert selections.

Gets a similar setup again and she finds a fairly weak BM58. Goes close. TYPHOON NETA (6) returned good figures two back when improving sharply to win at Kempsey. Had to work hard early from the sticky gate when a fading seventh over 1181m at Grafton on October 29. Will hold a forward position today and improve sharply. KAIYU (3) lightly raced filly chasing her third straight victory. Taken to the front and never headed when a gritty head winner over 1006m at this track on October 27. Genuine top four prospect. MAASAI MARA (4) tough old mare who gets in light again with the 3kg claim. Back to her pet trip here after finishing a wilting sixth over 1175m at Grafton on November 6. Best form is good enough to take this out.
RACE 2 - DUNALOCE (3) finds her race today fourth up in this easier contest. Comes out of a strong race after sitting on the speed when a plugging third to Invincible Emma over 1600m at Newcastle on November 2. Regular rider sticks and no excuses today. STYLEBENDER (2) win record hardly excites but has finished runner-up at his last two outings. Nabbed late after going out hard early when a narrow second over 1750m at Muswellbrook on November 6. On the quick back up and worth noting his best form is over this trip. Must be respected. THE YOUNG YEARS (4) made ground late in Highway grade three starts back at Rosehill. Snagged back from the wide draw last time out when fourth over 1509m at this track on October 27. Ready for this trip now. SOLAROSA (8) mixing her form and will appreciate the drop in weight after running third over 1750m at Muswellbrook on November 3. Look for her late from the draw.
RACE 3 - KING SOLEIL (3) much better performance at his second race start when attacking the line late to finish 1.1 lens third over 1000m at Muswellbrook on November 5. PUNCH ONE OUT (5) best effort in three career outings when sitting on the speed for an encouraging second over 1006m here on October 27. Should have little trouble running out the 1200m and has solid each-way prospects. SIMPLY DIVINE (12) trained on the track and returns from a spell of five months. Even debut on the heavy (10) track when making good ground late to finish third over 1000m at Kempsey on June 20. Returns without a trial but she should be forward enough with the claim. BOLD BENDER (7) has fitness on her side and expected to take a hand in the finish.
RACE 4 - PRANCING WITH FIRE (2) underrated mare holding her form in similar company. Taken to the front with the 58.5kg when sticking on well to finish a gritty fourth over 1400m at the Gold Coast last time out. Near her peak and will prove hard to run down. FLYBALL (8) only the one win from 22 starts and drops 2kg in weight after finishing fifth over this track and trip last time out. Solid each-way contender. ROSSY'S TYPA GIRL (3) is fifth up for this and gets in light again with the claim in this easier contest. Made up ground late when sixth over 1500m at Muswellbrook on November 3. Tempo suits and look for her charging late. DECLUTTER (6) up in grade from the wide gate and was a total forgive when a plodding seventh over 1600m at Taree in the Krambach Cup last time out. Kept fresh and can turn it around.

Has each-way prospects in this easier assignment. FINCA (4) staying bred type who created a big impression on debut with a slashing fourth over 1200m at Scone three weeks ago. Should be able to race a little closer over this trip and no shock to see her take this out. ARISDEN (5) fitter now third up and expecting more with the 3kg claim. Can race closer and finish in the minor money.
RACE 6 - MISSILE CHARM (5) Smart Missile filly out of Galileo mare on debut for the Nathan Doyle yard. Had the four trials in total for this and the stable jockey rides. Expected to be forward enough to play a leading role. QUEEN CALANTHE (1) getting up in the weights now and she has a fitness edge over most of these. Finished runner-up again when sitting on the speed for a fighting second over 1100m at Bathurst on October 15. Races best with her runs spaced and she looks the value play. MIZELLA (6) resumes after racing in stronger company last time in. Fitted with the two trials and should have strengthened further over the break. SNEAKY TAY (7) Invader filly from Vintage Luxe on debut for the Marc Quinn yard. Trained locally and never happy in the heavy going when fourth in an 800m trial at Beaumont on June 28. Can figure prominently with the blinkers on.
