RACE 1 - Looks a wide-open affair to kick off the card. PHAROAH'S PROPHECY (2) just missed the placings here on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Has since returned with a solid third around this circuit and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Rates a leading contender. READY FOR THE TRIP (3) has gotten better every time he has stepped out to the races including finishing runner-up over this distance range at Eagle Farm last time out. Can play a prominent role in the outcome. Former Victorian-based galloper KATERINI (9) is having her first local run but showed enough down south to warrant consideration in a race like this. Respect any market confidence. MISS REILLY (10) strips fitter second-up from the spell and gets in light with the 2kg claim. Top-three candidate. PRIVATE EQUITY (11) is improving with racing and is one for the exotics players.

RACE 2 - TUFF TU MUS (1) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and two seconds from four starts to commence the career and strikes a very winnable contest here. Callow sticks on board to navigate from the sticky draw and rates the testing material against this lot. CARTWHEELS (3) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Should be at her peak now third-up and looms as the main danger. The well-related WEST CORK (4) (half to G1 winner Qafila) got a well-deserved victory in dominant fashion at Ipswich and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Can go right on with the job now. CONNECTICUT (2) rounds out the selections.

RACE 3 - The well-related JUKEBOX GLOW (11) (half to G3 winner The Hulk) returned to the winners' stall at the Sunny Coast at the latest outing and may have turned the corner now. Does boast a win over this track and trip and gets in on the minimum weight. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. DIRTY DANCING (6) is first-up here but revved up for this with two recent trials and the form before the spell was good enough to be competitive in a race like this. Can feature while fresh. LORDSTER (4) gets 2kg weight relief from the favourable draw and may make his presence felt. In the mix. LOVES ME LIKEAROCK (1) best of the rest.

RACE 4 - HATASU (6) hails from a handy family (half to Melbourne Cup winner Vow And Declare) and is one from one over this course and distance. Gets winning hoop Mallyon back on to navigate from the wide draw and should be right there at the business end. YOU KAY SQUEEZE (14) is a consistent mare who has hit the top five at her past six outings. Will be rock-hard fit for this and looks a definite top three prospect on best form. KAIROS LOUIE (7) got a confidence building victory at Grafton last time out and could go back-to-back over this staying trip. In the mix. NIPPA'S NIGHTCAP (15) is usually thereabouts and looks one for the multiples from the favourable draw.

RACE 5 - The penny has dropped for HYDROELECTRIC (1) who has won three of his past four and is racing with a lot of confidence. Gets 2kg weight relief with the claim and should be prominent from the outside. Looks very hard to toss. ABOUT TO EXPLODE (7) resumes here but the form he showed before the break was good enough to put him right in this contest. Keep very safe. SULTRY SIREN (13) has a win and a second from two attempts around this circuit and cannot be ignored. FLYWHEEL (9) broke the maiden status at the latest outing and may go right on with the job now.

RACE 6 - PEACEFUL PRINCE (5) shed the maiden tag at the latest Ipswich effort and is sure to have taken a stack of confidence from that victory. Looks ready for the step-up to the 1350m now and will give backers a sight. STARLIGHT NATION (1) strips fitter second-up from the spell and must be respected from the astute barn. Can feature in the finish with any luck in running. ADORADEC (9) has only missed a drum once in five career starts and doesn't know how to put in a poor one. Top three candidate. DIVINE DIAMONDS (10) got the job done over this course and distance last time out and gets in well at the weights with the claim. Don't dismiss.
