RACE 1 - POSTMAN'S GAP (4) led here over this trip and was nabbed late. Hits this race and peaks with a tongue tie on for the first time. He can go one better. METCALFE (2) is in a top metro yard and he can improve on the solid first-up run. Maps well today and the blinkers are first-time applied. Sure to have come on the longer journey should suit. Keep very safe. DARK RED (7) went close here over a mile at long odds. Maps well and is in the mix. KING'S WARRIOR (1) has trialled well and the betting will be key.

RACE 2 - SHEMAKESMENERVOUS (8) two-year-old filly by Power from Hay Now on debut today. She's looked promising at the trials and is drawn well with the experienced hoop aboard. MHASAHN (1) gelding by Lean Mean Machine from Khasahn on debut. Ran fourth at recent trial. In the mix. HAPPY COFFEE (5) went back on debut last start and finished eighth over 1050m at Doomben. Easier here and has the benefit of race experience on board. MISHANI TREASURE (7) first-starter by The Mission out of Mishani Mystery. Look to the markets for any major moves.

RACE 3 - SURPRISE HONEY (9) resumes for the premier metro barn owning a 5L trial win. Brings compelling city form and is sure to take beating. CHEEK TO CHEEK (8) just missed here on debut off a trial win. Fitter and can make the quinella with average luck in the run. LOOK IT'S LUCY (6) faded late here first-up and pulled up with an issue. She has more to give and the speedy galloper draws inside. ENUFF PILLS (3) is a former Victorian who didn't have much luck here well supported. She has been freshened and is likely to run well.

RACE 4 - AVIOR (5) resumes for the Waller yard and has trialled at Warwick Farm. She showed enough in her debut at Canterbury to suggest this is winnable and she will be naturally improved. MATERIALIST (2) peaks and improved again narrowly beaten here. Has the first time blinkers applied and is feared. UCELLE (9) was expected to need it but was within range here on debut. Maps well and is sure to have taken fitness and learning. BRAZEN ACT (1) peaks and the speedy galloper will find this easier than Eagle Farm. He will skip across and gets in well with the 3kg claim.

RACE 5 - TAVIESLASS (4) led them up and deserved the comfortable win at Toowoomba. Peaks and still has more to give. Maps to control the race and the 2kg claimer stays aboard. ACES UP (2) spiked his figures narrowly beaten at the Sunshine Coast. Maps well and the middle distance will hold no fears. EL ASTEROID (1) brings a CL1 win from the country and it was a decent effort. Will race handy and can't be ruled out. NEW WORLD TAPESTRY (3) has switched from a Victorian yard on a 52-day return. Staying is his caper and is worth a betting watch.

RACE 6 - LA PETITE MAISON (1) peaks for the premier barn off a heavily bet placing here. He will use an inside barrier and rates to go one better. Stablemate GRAND METEOR (6) improved at Toowoomba and has more up her sleeve. She also maps well and fitter is a hope. MILTON ROAD (2) wasn't beaten far at Eagle Farm in tougher off a near miss here prior. In good hands and is suited at this level. MIXED SPICE (7) is better than the form line suggests. Steps back a grade and maps well off a freshen. The 3kg claim brings her into it. NEW YORK GAL (8) will be fitter and is knocking on the door. Look for her late.

RACE 7 - SIAN STAR (1) was quickly back on track just beaten here this grade/trip. Proven third-up and maps for the run of the race. Will take beating. TWYFORD (5) brings two narrow defeats here and was heavily bet last time. Rates well and gets another chance. TOBA (7) found a place behind the above in that contest. Has the ability but tends to settle back and always needs a good ride. REGAL EDITION (4) peaks and has been racing well in stronger in town. Jones is up and he can't be ruled out.

RACE 8 - VICTORY COMMAND (1) was heavily bet winning an Eagle Farm Maiden over this distance. That stacks up and he can go on with it now. MAX 'O' MAX (3) did a good job at Lismore after settling too far back. Won the Maiden well prior and a bounce isn't out of the question. PIREONTI (8) is an improver from the Healy yard. Placed first-up for the yard and has plenty up the sleeve. Quick improvement is likely. LASQUETI BOOM (7) has not raced since finishing sixth over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on September 4. Can contest for a place fresh.
