RACE 1 - GUSTAV (1) has been sound in two runs back from a spell for placings at Kempsey and Muswellbrook. Hasn't done a lot wrong to date and should be in the finish. IDOL SHOT (2) resumes into her second campaign and she was placed in three of them. Trip is short of her best but expect her to run well. LIGHTSCAMERAACTION (5) is a front running type who has been run down late in her two runs this time in. Sure to run well again up front. KING SOLEIL (3) and SHELLEY'S LOOKOUT (8) are worth including.

RACE 2 - EXOREALM (3) had a handy first preparation winning at Taree third-up and resumes with a trial under his belt. Expect he will run well fresh. PRINCE OF SORTS (6) started odds on and got the job done before a spell at Dubbo in early August. Has a wide gate but pay to keep safe. KAIYU (8) comes off a nice win and has the chance to go on with it. EXECUTIVE DECISION (5) will find this easier and FOOLS PLAY (7) has a place chance..

RACE 3 - OAKIELD PEEWEE (1) ran well first-up at Taree then favourite and made some ground after drawing wide at Dubbo earlier this month. Kinder draw suits and should go close. JUSTICE PLEASE (10) ran a handy race fresh at Newcastle when resuming then just fair at Warwick Farm. Easier here and has claims. CATS QUARTERS (5) is a 20 start maiden but is racing well and makes her own luck on the speed so has each-way claims. POINT TO PROVE (2) and ROCKBARTON ISLAND (3) have place claims.

RACE 4 - GET SOME FUN (8) is showing a heap of promise winning two of her three starts both at this track. Races on speed and sure to take beating again. CROWIE'S SHOUT (2) won well here two starts back then outclassed right up in class two weeks ago. Well worth another chance. BUCK PHAROAH (1) is an honest type who is racing well and worth including in the chances. DIS IS HEAVEN (7) and HEIR APPARENT (5) are among the other hopes.

RACE 5 - I AM SUGOI (3) is ready to peak after three runs back and did a good job off a wide gate when placed at Muswellbrook last time. Ideally drawn and looks hard to beat. TAKING THE MIKKI (7) has had a break since failing at Taree a month ago. Previous form was honest and while he doesn't win out of turn he's drawn to have his chance. LOUNERSE (4) hasn't raced since March and showed a heap of promise winning her first two starts. Will need some luck but must be kept safe. TELEGRAPH (5) and SCOTLAND (2) have claims.

RACE 6 - FLYBALL (10) comes right back in class after a handy effort in a Class 3 here a couple of weeks ago. Drawn nicely and looks a good chance in an open race. HAVERION (4) has been racing well off late, winning at Coffs Harbour three back, and tried hard in this grade in two runs since. Each-way. MALLEE BOY EXPRESS (9) raced handy and boxed on well in a Class 3 at Kempsey last time so comes back in grade here. Has to be considered. ROCK ARE STEINER (6) and XTRA APPROVAL (3) are worth including.
