Has looked sharp in two trial appearances and drawn to get the gun run. GAEILGE (3) is a two-year-old colt on debut from the James Cummings yard. By Exceed And Excel from Dathanna, and looks ready to go with the two trials under the belt. LAPIS LAZULI (8) filly by Microphone out of Colour from the James Cummings stable. Ran third in both trials and she gets map favours from the inside barrier. ARABELLA STAR (6) has impressed in her lead-up work as well. Nor surprise to see her feature.
RACE 2 - PAJANTI (3) holding her form well in stronger company. Just over five weeks between runs when going out hard and fading late to finish sixth over 1400m at Randwick Kensington in BM78 company on October 9. Won twice over this trip and the blinkers go on for the first time today. Hard to stop. MOGUL MONARCH (11) progressive gelding going nicely through his grades. Stalked the solid tempo when returning good figures to win over 1100m at Hawkesbury on October 10. Placed twice this trip and expected to figure prominently here. PRINCESS CRUIZER (7) Choisir mare from the Paul Perry yard racing in career-best form. Chasing her third straight win after launching late from well back to win over 1300m at Newcastle in BM68 grade on October 6. On the up and will relish the good early tempo. MONTE SUPREME (12) fitter now after two runs back and drops sharply in weight after finishing fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury with 61kg on October 17. Just needs luck from the draw. The chances don't end there.
RACE 3 - CABLE EXPRESS (7) lightly raced gelding with an exciting future. Nice performance first up from a five month break when a tenacious fourth over 1300m at Goulburn with 60kg on October 8. Undefeated second up and will keep improving as he gets out in trip. Ready to win from the low gate with the winkers on. MARENARO (3) was allowed to drift back early from the low draw when up in trip for a gritty head win over 1500m at Rosehill on September 28. Rawiller sticks and he can overcome the awkward gate. Goes close. STRAIGHT FIRE (17) holding his form well and maps to get the right run here. Snagged back from an outside gate before powering late to run third over 1500m at Rosehill in this grade on October 12. Solid top three contender. MAGIC PHAROAH (10) massive performance first-up after a three month break when coming from well back with the 60.5kg to finish a narrow second at Muswellbrook over 1450m on October 7. Up in class for this but will appreciate the sharp drop in weight. Respect.
RACE 4 - SMASHING TIME (4) finished behind Broadsiding over the winter in Brisbane, before resuming as fav with a slick on-pace win over 1200m at Kembla Grange on October 12. Has come back much stronger and maps to get the good run again. KING OF ROSEAU (2) only the one win from eight starts and back in trip after disappointing when ninth to Anode over 1400m at Rosehill in the LR Tapp-Craig on October 12. Best form is good enough to see an improved showing. HIGH OCTANE (1) frustrating colt with a stack of talent. Shuffled back from the inside gate and no match for Switzerland when sixth over 1200m in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes at Rosehill on October 12. This is much easier and expecting a better performance today. AMAZING EAGLE (8) Capitalist colt resuming from a lengthy break. Finished off strongly when third at Canberra in the G3 Black Opal over 1200m on March 10. Has impressed in both trial wins and this could be the prep where he goes to the next level.
RACE 5 - JUST PARTY (2) backs up quickly after drifting back early before charging late to fail narrowly behind Anode over 1400m in the LR The Tapp-Craig at Rosehill on October 12. Expecting him to race a little closer here and better placed over this trip. Can go one better. ANODE (1) classy colt who gripped on well late when a nose winner over 1400m in the LR The Tapp-Craig at Rosehill. Unplaced over this trip but expected to take catching again. PROST (3) disappointed in two runs back and could be looking for the 1600m now. Just under a month between runs when seventh over 1200m in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes at Rosehill on October 12. Maps to get the right run and he stays in the calculations. DECONSTRUCTION (4) unwanted in betting ($31), when getting out of the pack late for an eye-catching third over 1400m in the LR The Tapp-Craig at Rosehill two weeks ago. Set to peak and he looks solid each-way value.
RACE 6 - NEW ENDEAVOUR (10) three runs back have been sound and looks ready to win. Jumped in trip when he tired late to finish seventh over 1900m in the G2 Hill Stakes at Rosehill after working hard early. Can get across from the sticky draw and feature strongly. DEMOCRACY MANIFEST (6) tough miler near his top fourth up. Made up many lengths late when eighth to Ceolwulf over 1600m here in the G1 Epsom Hcp on October 5. Well drawn for this and gets the services of Rawiller. Leading player. REDIENER (5) won the Epsom last year and fitter after two runs back. Covered ground on the good tempo and found wanting late when 17th over 1600m in the G1 Epsom Handicap here at latest. Expected to stalk the good tempo from the soft gate and not without genuine top four claims. NUMERIAN (1) tough staying gelding resuming after winning the G2 Hollindale Cup over 1800m first up at the Sunshine Coast last prep, and then disappointing at his next two starts. Fitted with two recent trials and keep safe.
RACE 7 - SWIFTFALCON (2) exciting gelding who got too far out of his ground when running on late to secure second in the G3 Gloaming Stakes over 1800m at Rosehill on October 12. Primed now fourth up over 2000m and will appreciate the roomier Randwick track. The one to beat. EL CASTELLO (1) has gone to a new level this prep and chasing his fourth straight win. Sat just off the good tempo and asserted his authority late when a tough winner in the G3 Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill over 1800m at latest. The 2000m shouldn't pose a problem and he's sure to be thereabouts again. HENLEIN (3) snagged back from the poor draw and failed to get into the contest when a plugging sixth in the G3 Gloaming Stakes. Up to his preferred trip now and the visors go on for the first time. Sure to be strong late. HARLEM QUEEN (8) progressive Brutal filly who jumped sharply in grade when a gritty second over 1600m in the G1 Flight Stakes here on October 5. Can take a hand in the finish. The chances don't end there.
RACE 8 - ZOUGOTCHA (1) classy mare expected to bounce back to winning form after being run down late by Via Sistina first up, and then disappointing when a wilting eighth behind Fangirl over 1600m in the 7+ Stakes at this track on September 21. Kept fresh and since fitted with a 1000m tick over trial. Tongue tie goes on and she gets the right race set up today. OLENTIA (5) underrated mare who sprouted wings late when a slick 1.2 len winner first-up over 1200m in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill on October 12. Second up record is just as good and expected to play a leading role. ROYAL MERCHANT (4) tough mare who went forward with the 59kg and gave a great sight when a narrow third over 1200m in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill. Maps well again and can give plenty of cheek at the good odds. MAGIC TIME (2) returned in good order with an eye-catching fourth over 1200m at Flemington in the G2 Gilgai on October 5. Saves her best for this track and trip and has the ability to overcome the sticky draw.
RACE 9 - YELLOW BRICK (7) smart Queensland trained gelding who gave them a galloping lesson second up when a commanding 2.25 len victory with the 60kg over 1400m in the LR Tattersall's at Eagle Farm on October 12. Drawn to stalk the solid tempo with Tim Clark aboard today and expected to prove too strong again. AMOR VICTORIOUS (6) undefeated at this track and pulled out plenty when a gritty winner of the G2 Shannon Stks over 1500m at Rosehill on September 28. Kept up to the mark with a 1200m tick over trial and he looks to have strong top three claims again. IKNOWASTAR (11) proven in this company and comes out of a strong race after going out hard from a sticky draw first up when a fighting fifth over 1400m in the Allan Brown at Rosehill. Extra trip helps and King retains the ride from the low draw. Major player. PUNCH LANE (13) sat on the good tempo and failed to finish off when a tiring ninth over 1400m in the Allan Brown at Rosehill. Cross over nose band goes on and improvement expected.
RACE 10 - RIYAZAN (10) tough old gelding with his hoof on the till. Collared late when a narrow third to St Lawrence over 1600m here in BM94 grade on October 5. Sits on the limit with 52kg and is ready to win now. KINTYRE (5) set to peak fourth up after racing in much stronger grade this time in. Far from disgraced when ninth over 1600m in the G1 Epsom Handicap here on October 5. Senior rider is back on now and no excuses in this contest. Goes close. SOUNDS OF HEAVEN (9) backs up quickly third up after plugging late when 10th over 1600m in the G3 Angst at this track last Saturday. Blinkers go on and and she can take a hand in the finish with the 52kg. COMMUNIST (4) next best.
