A repeat of the latest will see her hard to hold out. MEGHAN (6) first-up after four months stalked the pace from the low draw when a plugging third over 1000m at Port Macquarie on October 11. Goes equally as well second up and gets a similar set up here. Each-way.
RACE 2 - LIBBY (4) improving staying mare looking for this trip now after running on late when third over 1300m at Armidale on October 5. Will relish the 3kg claim again from the good gate and she finds a fairly weak maiden. THREE GRACES (5) consistent mare with her hoof on the till third up. Finished off strongly when second over 1550m at Murwillumbah on October 15. Can race closer from the good gate and prove hard to hold out. BOLOGNA (2) much better performance on the quick backup when making up good ground late from well back when second over 1450m at Kempsey on October 8. A repeat showing keeps him in the mix. DISCOVER (3) fitter now and will find this more to his liking after finishing fifth over 1650m at Doomben on October 9. Maps well and has genuine each-way prospects.
RACE 3 - GIDDY GAN'S JOY (2) improving mare racing in career-best form. Went one better last start when a dominant 2.25 len winner over 1900m at Kilcoy in the heavy going on October 10. Looks up to this from the good gate and is expected to play a leading role again. NATURE BOY (4) tough old stayer who hit the line late when fourth over 1900m at Kempsey last time out. Claim helps again from the low draw and he has a good record at this track. CRASH'N'BASH (7) blemished her good recent record when fading quickly in the heavy (10) going to finish ninth over 2350m here on October 1. Worth another chance on earlier runs. EASTOWIN (9) mixing his form after fading quickly when coming across from the outside gate to finish a poor eighth over 1900m at Kempsey last time out. Trained on the track and expected to bounce back from the good gate.
RACE 4 - DIPIERDOMENICO (3) shed his maiden status two back, then sat on the speed in the heavy conditions when a gritty third over 1400m at this track on October 1. Confidence is high and he finds a fairly even C2. VENOM WOLF (4) looked good two runs back, then a month between runs when running on late to finish eighth over 1200m at Port Macquarie a week-and-a-half ago. Ready for this trip now and the claim helps again. Genuine player. DESERT MIST (1) fitter after one run back and not a bad effort with the 59.5kg when fifth over 1350m at Ipswich on October 3. Expected to take a hand in the finish today. I AM CONVINCING (5) has been kept fresh for this after finishing runner-up at three of his last five starts. Goes well here and is sure to be thereabouts again.
RACE 5 - LADY TULESSA (8) tough mare racing in career-best form. Looks up to this stronger contest with the drop in weight after surging late with the 60kg for a gritty neck win over 1000m at Ballina last start. Saves her best for this track. BARONESSA (7) classy mare resuming from a lengthy break. Undefeated at this track and since fitted with two slick trial wins. Maps well and she has solid each-way prospects. ANDY (6) third-up today and was a total forgive from the outside gate when sitting on the speed before fading late over 1300m at the Gold Coast in Cl5 company on October 5. Well drawn today and can take a hand in the finish. SINGLE TOUCH (11) hard fit for this and ticks plenty of boxes with the claim from the good draw. Genuine top three prospect.
RACE 6 - IMMORTALITY (1) underrated gelding who drops in grade today. Just over six weeks between runs when a plugging eighth over 1200m at Ipswich two weeks ago. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ANOTHER WISH (9) created a good impression on debut when a shock winner over 1000m at this track three weeks ago. Further improved now and maps to get the gun run. HIGH AND MARTY (4) won his maiden two back, before jumping up in grade and trip from the sticky gate when a poor 14th over 1400m at this track on October 1 in the heavy (10) going. Can bounce back here from the inside gate. SPRING EAGLE (3) tacked the line late when a sound fifth over 1200m at Port Macquarie on October 11. Goes well here and can take a hand in the finish.
RACE 7 - KHAMIS (14) promising Pariah filly who ploughed through the heavy (10) conditions when a dominant 6 len winner on debut over 1400m at this track three weeks ago. Expected to have improved further and will have little trouble running out a strong 1630m. OTTOMAN EMPIRE (4) third-up here and placed third-up in the past. Finished over the top of them late when a gritty nose winner over 1550m at this track on October 1. Saves his best for this track and the extra trip suits. HOTZINO (12) is back in trip today on the firmer surface after disappointing when seventh over 2350m at this track in the heavy going on October 1. Senior rider on and she has top four prospects. VETOED (16) looking for this trip now after failing to sprint with them when fourth over 1300m at Ballina two-and-a-half weeks ago. Placed this trip and she gets the right race set up.
