RACE 1 - AMARLIME (12) rattled home from the back of the pack on debut at Bunbury, missing out by 1.1L. She has drawn wide again which is a little niggle, though she drops in weight and the rise in distance appears a big tick. Has plenty of upside and can shed the maiden tag today. JUST GIFTED (13) comes through the same race as Amarlime where she was a 5-2 chance but never really came on from midfield at Bunbury. Now back in grade is a big tick, though there's not a whole lot saying she can turn the tables on Amarlime. Rates well against the rest of the field though and has strong claims. MYSTERY MINUTE (10) disappointed at Bunbury on debut but should be better for the effort there. He maps for a nice run once again and with improvement likely, he'll put his best foot forward. BIG BOPPER (3) will be fitter for the first-up run and can give a big sight from the front. IMPENDING FEATURE (8) has trialled well here since his latest run and has claims.

RACE 2 - MAZE MASTER (2) has had a few spins now but looks in good form judging by his figures this time in. He closed off well over 1400m at Bunbury last start and he'll find this an easier assignment. He may be back in the run for Sardelic, but he can be rattling home at the finish. ELEGANT INDI (12) is on debut for the Durrant stable and maps beautifully from an inside barrier. Lucy Fiore hops in the saddle without partnering her in the trial, but her public outings have shown enough talent. Can make a winning debut. MYTHICAL DREAM (8) closed off fairly at Bunbury first-up and should strip fitter for that effort. He had trialled well coming into that effort though and the form out of that race has been franked. Expecting improvement second-up. FORBIDDEN APPLE (9) gets the blinkers on first time following a sound effort here last start. Include.

RACE 3 - NEW MUSIC (7) finished at the back at Belmont first-up but does improve with a run under her belt. Back to this level is a massive drop in grade and her weight doesn't change a whole lot. Maps for a much better run this time and she can bounce back in a big way. QUEEN NARDI (4) gets the blinkers on first time today and drops back in trip after a solid effort from the front at Kalgoorlie. He ratings stack up strongly this time in though dropping in trip is a slight query. She does have the speed to roll across from the alley though and if she can get her own way up front, she'll take plenty of catching. COSTA DEL SANTO (2) has had an issue since his latest effort at Bunbury but the figures he's producing stack up well in this. Will get back in the run but is sure to be closing off well. THE RUSH (6) was impressive here last start and the rise in trip looks to suit. Can make his presence felt. ROCKSTAR STATUS (3) won't be far away third-up.

RACE 4 - SNIPPY WHICH (5) appears extremely well placed in this event. He's been strong in town all campaign and now steps out to 1200m where his peak ratings have come. The blinkers go on first time as he drops back to this level and he gets some nice weight relief too. Should get every chance and make the most of it. STARCHIENNE (6) got a long way back and never featured at Belmont first-up and has been back to the trials since. She is a winner over this trip first-up last campaign at Belmont and also gets the blinkers on first time. Faithfull is 2/2 when riding and she appears the main danger. PATCHWORK (3) may get back in the run but that didn't matter first up in a very similar race to this. She's never missed the placings second-up and if she can build on that effort, she'll go close. WHAT A PRINCE (1) will find this a bit sharp first-up though he's worth keeping an eye on for longer races. HAMMARMILL (7) is a fresh winner in the past and has claims.

RACE 5 - KING AKEED (3) was right in the market and just missed by 1.8L in a tougher race than this at Belmont last time out. The drop back in trip is no issue and the Norton Bit goes on for the firs time. He has enough speed to cross from the wide alley and he looks the one to beat. LA DETTE (1) comes into this first-up after come competitive runs in tougher company during her last campaign. She'll be fitter for a recent trial and Fiore has won aboard the mare previously. She's placed 2/3 first-up and looks well placed to build on that record. MAGNIFICENT CARAT (2) should find a handy enough spot in the running and has been racing well in recent events. The horse she finished right alongside came out and won on Thursday. Can make her presence felt. SAFE HUSTLE (5) can sit closer than he did last start and won't be far away. NEFERTITI (8) was a first-up winner in Victoria last campaign and is not to be discounted.

RACE 6 - LOOKS (3) sat on the speed in a tougher race last time out and just missed by 0.7L at Northam. This appears a nice race for him with a good record at the 1200m trip and he has the speed to cross and lead. Sure to take plenty of catching if he can hold his form. FIRST BEACH (7) looks a horse on the rise following a good win at Bunbury to shed the maiden tag fresh. Drawn well again today and the slight rise in trip is no issue. This is tougher, but he can continue to work his way through the grades. MIA GUSTO (2) is racing well without winning this time in and wasn't disgraced in Saturday grade most recently. Will enjoy this easier grade and has winning claims. JUSTHANDY (8) was a strong winner first-up at 20-1, though it wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose. I'M NOT SLEW (1) makes her way to the west and has a few ratings from her NSW stint that stack up well.

RACE 7 - SIMPLY THINKIN' (1) ran on well at Belmont last start and looks ready to peak third-up and dropping into easier company. She's still a lightly raced commodity who has plenty of upside. She may end up back in the run, but she has plenty of ability and can storm over the top of this field. STAY ASTERN (5) resumes today with plenty of gear changes, though he does have a good record at this track and trip. Can be in the finish if he's at his best. ODIN OMEN (14) has a nice first-up record and is worth including despite the wide alley. DAIYAMONDO (7) is better than she's shown her past couple and is not to be discounted.
