RACE 1 - CHAPARRAL CHASE (6) just ran into one better over this track and trip on debut when well in the betting and where there's smoke there's fire. Will have taken benefit from that day at the races and rates the testing material against this lot. BOOM CRUSHER (5) has hit the top five in all 11 outings to date and is yet to put in a poor one. A must for the multiples. CHIARO DI LUNA (9) failed last start but go on the three placings before that poor effort. Worth another chance.

RACE 2 - BLIND DESIRE (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in six of seven overall and looks to have struck a very winnable contest here. Harley sticks in the irons and should be going very close. BOLD BEAUTY (3) is at the races for the first time and any market confidence should be noted. ELEANOR NANCY (5) is another first starter to keep tabs on.

RACE 3 - ITALIAN DANCER (4) wasn't disgraced in Listed company before the spell and should find this assignment much more to his liking. Has placed around this circuit and a bold showing while fresh would not surprise. BRAZEN ACT (10) strips fitter second-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. BOLD ARCTIC (2) has shown ability at the trials and any market support should be respected.

RACE 4 - QUADE (2) is a very consistent conveyance who has only missed the top five once in 11 career starts to date. Goes well here with a win and a second from two attempts and gets the services of Maloney in the stirrups. Ticks a few boxes. REVITUP CHARLIE (12) is racing in a rich vein of form this preparation and has placed over this track and trip. Top-three candidate. LOKEN (11) looked handy winning at Kilcoy on debut before just missing the placings over this course and distance last time out. One for the exotics players. GALLERY MASTER (13) rounds out the selections on the back of a third here at the latest effort.

RACE 5 - DEFERENTIAL (10) returned in solid order with a placing at this circuit and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Winning hoop Maloney reunites and can be right there at the business end. MAMBO DANCER (13) strips fitter third-up from the spell and should be ready to show something now. Top-three contender on best form. SERGEANT HULKA (2) gets 3kg off with the claim and has won when first-up before. Worth including while fresh. RIVIERA BLUE (1) has won over this course and distance and may trouble the judge with any luck from the sticky draw.

RACE 6 - KEEPMEINTHELOPE (2) is a very honest campaigner who has only missed the top five once in seven career outings. Strips fitter third-up from the break and gets 3kg off with McMurray's claim. Should be going very close. HOOKS (9) got the job done over this track and trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Can go right on with it. HELL OF A PRINCE (16) has been thereabouts in both efforts this preparation and looks one for the exotics.

RACE 7 - RING BEARER (8) has a win and a second from his past two starts over this track and trip and is sure to be at peak fitness for this. Rates a serious contender. GOOD LIEUTENANT (5) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance. GRIPPING (2) strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets weight off from the favourable draw. In the mix.

RACE 8 - KAIROS LOUIE (2) strips fitter second-up from the spell and gets Orman in the irons. Rates the testing material against this decimated field. SON OF SATONO (8) wasn't too far away at the latest effort and can play a role in the outcome. PARIS AFFAIR (18) doesn't win out of turn but is usually around the mark and may earn some minor money.
