RACE 1 - SWYCHO (10) gave backers a bold sight when resuming here, only to be run down late. Kept fresh for this with a 34-day break and tackles the same trip. Leading player. SUPER LAD (9) also showed good tactical speed last start, beaten a neck on debut. Is sure to have come on with that run under his belt and gets senior hoop in Holder to manage to tricky draw. Can give another great sight. FLYING YANK (3) closed off solidly into the placings when resuming at Murray Bridge. Expecting her to drift back from the wide alley and be charging hard late. IT'S A SOLID DEEL (4) returns and looks to have come back in good order on the back of handy work in lead-up. Apprentice stays on from the trial and gets him in low at the weights. Don't underestimate.

RACE 2 - THUNDER SHOC (14) went better than her form suggests when stepping out on debut back in March. Looks to have come on nicely during the break and is expected to play a major role. DE JANEIRO (2) is a four-year-old Cable Bay gelding on debut for Michael Hickmott. Has impressed at the trials and has Todd Pannell sticking from a good draw. Can make a bright start. RICH LADY (8) has been knocking on the door and should be peaking fourth-up on the short turnaround. BULLEYES (17) returns and while he's yet to show much race day, he did catch the eye in recent trial win.

RACE 3 - Competitive race. SENTIMENTAL FLAME (2) warmed to her task nicely over the concluding stages at the latest. Strips fitter third-up and will appreciate the extra ground on the quick back-up. EIGHT ON THE DOT (4) looked to be nearing a win but was only sound here last time out. Drawn sticky but is a major player on best form. Forgiving. SCAMSTER (6) loomed up and went on with the job nicely to get the verdict last start. Faces a similar assignment, so only has to hold his form to be very competitive. SAVSONIC (3) is ticking along nicely and gets a nice pull at the weights with the 3kg claimer engaged. Have to include.

RACE 4 - HIGH FIVE (5) has been firm in the market in his two runs back here without threatening. Draws much kinder this time and gets the blinkers on first time. Expecting sharp improvement now and that would see him a leading contender in this. STARTS NOW (4) is ready to make his return after enjoying a successful debut prep. Trial placing in readiness suggests he can play a major role, and Toeroek reuniting adds confidence. DIVINE FIRE (7) didn't give her rivals a sniff last start when leading pillar-to-post. This is tougher but she deserves respect. MADISON KATE (6) was far from her best when resuming here last start. Willing to forgive.

RACE 5 - OAKLAND RAIDER (1) was denied a head from resuming a winner here last start. Is sure to come on with that run under the belt and has a gun hoop in Toeroek sticking under the big weight. Bold showing is anticipated. HALLSTATT (2) has gone better than his form reads in his two runs back. Comes through some solid races and shoulders a handy record over this track and trip. Can give this a big shake. NOSIE BY NATURE (3) was only beaten 2.5L in his last when resuming at Morphettville. Gets in well at the weights with the claimer on. Don't dismiss. SWISS WISH (10) is racing well of late and has claims.

RACE 6 - KONG (6) was far from his best last start when clearly going amiss. Form prior was solid and he's a great chance to break a long run of outs if he can recapture it. DAWNBURST (7) was a barnstorming winner two back in what has proven to be a hot form race. Not as effective last start when tackling tougher opposition. Drawn ugly but possesses a strong finishing burst on her day and could launch late. LIMBERING (8) has generally been racing well this campaign. Gets in well at the weights again with the 3kg claimer engaged and is expected to roll forward. Should give backers a bold sight. METRICAL (1) returns and makes his stable debut for the Bain & Taylor partnership. Victorian form reads well for this and he's shown enough in his two trials in readiness. Don't take him lightly.

RACE 7 - THERMODYNAMIC (7) returns and has gone well fresh without winning, only beaten a head first-up at Gawler last time in. Strips fitter for two solid trials and is well placed to play a major role. ABIT RATTLEY (3) is yet to strike through this campaign but is knocking on the door. Strips rock-hard fit now and gets a nice pull at the weights with the 3kg claimer engaged. Warrants serious respect. TRUMPTY DUMPTY (5) is a progressive type returning for a leading barn. Trial in was handy enough but he will need some luck from the wide alley. A case can be made for LONGWARRY (1), with his best efforts stacking up well here and he's expected to be doing his best work late.
