RACE 1 - BOMBISCUIT (8) put the writing on the wall last start at Warrnambool when beaten narrowly. Peaking now, just needs a touch of luck from the wide draw. MISS PANTHERLOT (10) was nearing the breakthrough before turning in a poor one at Murray Bridge. Steps out in trip off 35-day freshen and is a serious chance with a return to form. SPIRIT OF CLARA (11) warmed to her task nicely late when resuming over the 900m here. Will appreciate the rise in trip and could sneak into the frame again at long odds. SEE DE NIGHT (6) is another likely improver. Keeping safe.

RACE 2 - YIASOU (6) progressed nicely second-up when just missing by 0.5L here. Strips fitter third-up and the added trip suites. Ready to get the job done. THE LAST FLASH (11) has been thereabouts in her two runs back. Nearing peak now and is well-placed to play a major role. Main danger. SWITCH HIT (5) disappointed as favourite last start at Halidon. Has been kept on the fresh side with 24 days between runs and a return to form will have him right in the finish. Will just need some luck from the ugly draw. HIGHLAND BEAUTY (10) finds the maiden win elusive but has shown glimpses of ability. Keeping safe.

RACE 3 - MERCHANT BOSS (5) doesn't win out of turn but is a class above these on best form. Was only denied by a lip last start in town over the same trip. Draws well and only has to hold his form to take this out. PORTATION (3) hasn't offered a yelp in his last two starts in town. Strikes a much easier assignment this time and is a major player if he brings his A-game. Great chance to break a long run of outs. FIRST RETURN (7) has come back in good order and can be very competitive again. COME ALONG JEFFREY (2) next best.

RACE 4 - CHOSEN MISS (1) is going better than her form reads and finds a much more suitable contest. Has run into some handier types in her last few starts and will appreciate dropping back to a winning trip. Leading player back in this grade. EXOPIPI (6) rattled home to just miss in town at the latest. Rock-hard fit now and is drawn to take closer order over a longer trip. Main danger. BELLAKAI (4) followed up her solid Terang win with a sound chase to the line at the latest. Pealing now and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claimer engaged. One of the threats. ANY LUCK (7) continues to knock on the door. Shoulders a terrific record on her home track and is worth some thought. HANDSHAKE (2) will be doing his best work late.

RACE 5 - GALLOPING GURU (2) was an eye-catcher when resuming last start at Warrnambool. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and will appreciate the rise in trip. Draws to get a soft run and is the one to beat. MAIDEN FLIGHT (7) progressed nicely second-up when just missing the placings in town. Easier this time and should be nearing her peak. Bold showing anticipated. DESIGNS OF EIGHT (6) was a barnstorming maiden winner last start at Hamilton. Tougher this time but has scope for improvement. Don't underestimate. Last-start winner WYUNA STAR (12) also holds appeal and is worth keeping onside.

RACE 6 - LORD PORCHESTER (2) hasn't won for a long time but is knocking on the door. Will appreciate the added trips and is well-placed to break a long run of outs. SALSBURY HILL (9) is another that has spent extended time out of the winner's circle but does shoulder a solid record over this trip. Gets in low at the weights and is among the main hopes. WHISKEY HANGOVER (1) is yet to strike through this prep but has turned in some nice efforts. Can threaten if he brings his A-game. NANKEEN (3) likes to drift back early and charge hard late. Watch for him climbing over their backs at the business end.

RACE 7 - DAN'S ECHO (8) bounced back sharply here last start when collared on the line after giving backers a great sight. Rock-hard fit now and is drawn favourably. Great chance. TWO KAY KLICK (3) is going better than his form reads. Shoulders a handy record at this venue and is aided at the weights with the 2kg claimer engaged. Holds appeal. THEY CALL ME DUSTY (4) has been firm in the market of late without getting the job done. Is a track and trip winner and has Tourneur sticking. Bold showing anticipated. BIRTHDAY SUIT (6) will be doing her best work late.
