RACE 1 - BOUND TO FIRE (2) stepped up to 1400m and started favourite last start but just failed in a Nowra maiden. Very fit after three runs back from a spell and looks ready for a first tilt at this trip. The one to beat in an ordinary affair. BLAZING BEVERLEY (7) is yet to find the frame in ten starts. Last appeared over this distance three runs back when she produced her best result, beaten 2.7 lengths at Albury. In contention with a repeat of the performance. GHAZNAVI (6) has struggled to make an impact of late at the provincials. Worth another chance in this easier race on a six-day back-up. ORNE (9) ran a better race last time out, making late ground to finish third over 1425m at this track. Very fit and nicely placed out to today's journey. DAMONA GODDESS (8) did nothing last start on her Australian debut when first-up from an 11-month spell. Likely improver.

RACE 2 - COMMANDORO (13) has impressed in his two runs this prep following a stable change. Both runs were over shorter trips at this track and he was strong through the line but found one better on each occasion. Beautifully drawn and the extra distance is ideal. WANDABYNE (12) produced a career-best performance last start when she led and battled on gamely for a close fourth over 920m here. Late bloomer who will give them something to catch. SHALMUM (3) returns from a four-month spell and has switched from Bjorn Baker to local trainer Natalie Jarvis. Consistent mare who has been in the money at both first-up runs. Won a recent trial so she looks ready to run. LOWLINE (1) ran a cheeky race on debut at Queanbeyan recently. Awkward gate but should go forward and play a role in the finish. XANADU MISS (5) has met with solid early backing on debut. Must be respected.

RACE 3 - KOOL BIRD (5) turned at the tail of the field before stoking up late to be beaten 3.3 lengths over 1200m here last start. Small query with her coming back in distance but they will go fast and she is capable of some slick final splits. MISS BELGIUM (2) hasn't won for a long while but has been about the mark of late, most recently finishing third over this distance at Canberra. Won't find this any harder so another forward showing is on the cards. DAICOS (8) lines up for the seventh time in nine weeks. Even effort last time out when just behind the placegetters in a BM58 over this course and distance. Should be thereabouts again. Lightly raced mare MIKKI SHIMA (6) is back from a six-month break. Opened the maiden prep with a tough win over this distance at the Sapphire Coast. Has ability and any market confidence should be respected. Veteran mare CONSTANTINOU (7) should be ready to show something at the fourth run back from a spell.

RACE 4 - KING GUTHO (3) had a 45-day let-up before his last start third in a BM82 over this distance at Wagga. Easy winner at Canterbury the run prior which underlines his class. Looks the testing material in this company. ALICIA ROMA (1) returns from a 12-week break and has transferred to Mitch Beer from Team Snowden. Was beaten just over three lengths in a Listed race at Flemington in December. Recent trial winner who is good enough to take care of these. Local greybeard GORUSH LIGHTNING (7) got within a length of the winner in a BM74 over this course and distance recently. Has outstanding five-furlong stats at this circuit. Can never be ruled out. FOURTH SPARGO (4) was narrowly beaten here at this trip last time out, her ninth top three finish from ten career starts. Difficult to knock. ABSTRUSE (8) disappointed at Goulburn last start but is capable of better.

RACE 5 - PRESSILLY (12) impressed when fresh from a spell last start in a maiden over this course and distance, driving hard late to just prevail. No step up in distance second-up which is a variation on the course taken last prep. Back better than ever and worth following. DIVINE RENDEZVOUS (11) wasn't the best away and found it hard to get involved last time out over this distance at Gundagai. Very fit mare whose best efforts are good enough to win a race of this calibre. SNAPPY JIM (2) stalked the pace then went home a shade too well at his latest appearance over 1100m at Nowra. Won't mind the extra trip and is a leading player again. YOUR NOT THE BOSS (1) is back from a 16-week spell. Opened last prep with a minor placing over this distance at Kembla which is a strong form reference. The in-form PERUNO (4) has been in the money at ten of 13 Moruya runs. Must be included.

RACE 6 - URAFIKI (10) gets blinkers for the first time. Appreciated the return to firmer footing last start when fourth over this distance at Wyong. Faces the weakest field of her four runs this prep, particularly with a couple of key rivals coming out, so she gets her chance. SHEZASIREN (13) was there on straightening but couldn't finish off when resuming over 1000m at Wyong recently. Worth another chance with blinkers applied. The lightly raced THE MAIN EVENT (4) resumes. Good effort to finish runner-up on debut last prep so expect he will come to hand quickly again. SAXON DRAUM (8) was poor last start over 1400m. Good effort when resuming two back over a similar trip to this at Newcastle. Throw her in wider exotics at a price. GIZA (5) resumes in a weaker race than the two she has contested to date. Good each-way hope.

RACE 7 - Model of consistency TULLA PARK (3) came from worse than midfield on the corner to get the cash in a Quality Sprint over 1000m at Canberra last time. Won't mind the extra trip and on current form this looks well within his grasp. CAPITAL HEART (8) appreciated the step back to country racing when he convincingly took out a Class 1 over 1425m here recently. Up in class but drops 7kgs and is drawn to get an economical run. CLEVER ART (10) made it three top three finishes from as many runs this prep when a closing third over 1200m at Kembla last start. Great chance at the weights from a favourable gate. BODY BOB (5) disappointed first-up at Canberra but can improve out to this more suitable journey. FOURCADE (11) loves racing here so although up sharply in grade she is a sneaky chance down in the weights.

RACE 8 - MR METRICS (1) was handy on the corner but couldn't keep going last time out over 1400m at Hawkesbury at the second run of the prep. Boasts two wins and a placing from three third-up runs. Bolted in at his only visit to Moruya. Should lead and will be terribly hard to peg back. SPRITELY EMILY (4) has recorded two nail-biting wins on the bounce, both over the mile here. Stepping up in grade but this veteran mare looks up to the task. TILLMAN (10) had been working up to a win and it came last start in a BM58 over 1400m at Nowra. Tougher assignment today but he draws a lot better and drops 2kgs. In the mix. ENCOMPASS (5) hasn't won for a while but his latest effort over this trip at Goulburn was encouraging. LES GOH (13) was only a length behind Tillman at Nowra recently. Back in form and worth a look with the light weight from a good draw.
