RACE 1 - BONDI PLUNGE (2) had found it hard to win another race prior to this season but since resuming from a spell she has gone back to back and gets to stay in the same grade for this assignment. She is up 2,5kg in weight but that should not be enough to stop her from completing the hat-trick. KEEP ATTACKING (3) has been holding his form over the winter and was runner-up behind the top pick here a fortnight ago. He meets that runner on level terms at the weights this time and is capable of turning the tables. MIA GUSTO (7) is heading the right way with her form as her fitness improves and was only a short-head away from the winner when finishing runner-up at Bunbury 16 days ago. Her next win is not far away. SUNBRONZED (5) was back in winning form with an effortless all-the-way win in lesser company here 10 days ago. He seems suited by the new front-running tactics and could be the one to peg back again. Stick with him.

RACE 2 - BLUE ROCKET (4) won a trial before finishing sixth of 7 fresh-up on this track when peaking on her run late and then improved sharply to run second here a fortnight ago, less than a length from the winner. The extra 100m could make all the difference and she is poised to go one better this time. TRUE APOSTLE (2) was only beaten by a nose when resuming from a spell and then got too far back from a wide draw last time out, finishing near the rear. He has a superior gate this time and is expected to bounce back into the money immediately. MEAN MACHINE (1) has been third in his last couple of starts since winning for the first time here on a heavy track by a nose 3 starts back. He is capable of another big run, even from a wide gate. Each way all day along with JACKPOT BINGO (5) who is close to peaking.

RACE 3 - SNIPPY WHICH (3) is a stablemate of the top pick who may not have seen out 1200m here last time out. He will be hoping for some firmer track conditions and with a return to 1000m, he should be right in the finish. Stick with him. MISS FLIRTACIOUS (9) showed plenty of promise last season and is resuming from a spell with a recent trial win by over 2 lengths on this track under his belt. She has a handy draw and has to be respected fresh-up, especially if the money comes for her. AHYEAHRIGHTO (7) let down strongly to get up and score by a short-head at Northam nearly 2 weeks ago and will still be on the up with his fitness. He is up in class but down in weight and can win again. HANG GLIDER (8) is also in the mix.

RACE 4 - CAPTAIN PLUTO (2) was a huge winner on this track fresh up and in 3 starts since then he has only been beaten narrowly, including his last start here a fortnight ago as favourite when a neck back from the winner. He is the one to beat again. POMPEY (1) is a quality stablemate of the top pick who resumed with a fair effort over 1200m on this track 2 weeks ago. He has won 2 of his 3 starts second up in the past and will relish the step up to a mile. He is down in grade and even with the top weight, he can get the job done here. FINE TOUCH (6) probably found 2100m a touch too far here last start and her record over a mile is much better. She is nicely placed with 55kg on her back and she is poised to bounce back into some worthwhile form again. Each way. CORN COB (5) has been mixing his form for some time and has not lived up to his earlier promise. He is getting down in the weights now and is more than capable of figuring in the finish if he is in the right mood.

RACE 5 - ROYAL TORONADO (4) is a stablemate of the top pick who was doing his best work late when finishing fifth here a fortnight ago. He will relish the step up to a mile and back in an easier grade. In a race weakened by scratchings he can have the last say. BORDER FORCE (8) is working up to a win with some nice recent efforts at this track, beaten 1.2L two back before clocking in second last week. Draws for a soft run so could go one better. WESTERN POWER (6) has been close up in both runs here since a Northam win. Go well again. COBBANCO (1) is fitter for recent racing so can show more.

RACE 6 - SIMPLY (4) got up late with a strong burst to score at Pinjarra when resuming from a spell and has been runner-up in 2 further starts this season including his last start here 7-days ago over a mile. The extra 600m is ideal and with William Pike staying loyal, he can have the last say this time. FILTHY HABITS (1) is a consistent gelding who has been kept busy since resuming from a spell with 4 starts last month and another run already this month so he won't lack fitness. He is usually setting the pace and was only caught late here a fortnight ago when finishing second by a head. He handles any track condition and will be hard to peg back again. CANDLELIGHT SUPPER (5) has not won for some time but her recent form has been encouraging. The distance suits her. I LOVE YOUR SMILE (2) looks close to a win.

RACE 7 - WATCH ME ROCK (4) was chasing a hat-trick of wins when finishing second by a nose here a fortnight ago over 1300m after scoring at his prior start over 1400m by a short-head. He is a progressive type who gets a nice swing in the draw this time and is poised to make an immediate return to the winners' circle here. TRIO (9) is a stablemate of the top pick who has come of age lately and made it 3 wins from his past 4 starts when scoring on this track 2 weeks ago by a nose over this trip. He is facing another rise in class but with the same weight to carry, he can repeat the dose. STARCHIENNE (11) is resuming from a spell and has not missed a cheque in 4 starts fresh-up in the past, including a couple of wins. She has had 2 trials under her belt and is only lightly tried for a 7-year-old mare. Keep an eye on the market moves. Can win. BELLINI MISS (10) was a comfortable Northam winner in lesser company last start and is capable of measuring up here as well.

RACE 8 - The Listed Black Heart Bart Stakes is the feature of the day and the last start fresh up winner SEARCHIN' ROC'S (9) can make it 2 wins on the bounce after her win in similar company here 5 weeks ago in the Idyllic Prince Stakes over 1300m. She is just as good over this slightly shorter trip and with 1.5kg less to carry this time, she can take it out. AZTEC RULER (6) is a progressive gelding who ended his last prep with a third on this track in June. He has only missed a cheque once in 10 starts on this circuit, including 5 wins, and with a cosy run likely early on from the pole position, he can have a say in the outcome of this contest. FRIGID (10) was a beaten favourite fresh up here a fortnight ago and only peaked on her effort late, finishing third. She normally improves quickly with racing and more importantly, William Pike has kept the faith. Hard to beat. LACED UP HEELS (14) is a very handy mare resuming from a spell and if she doesn't need it, can figure in the finish. Include.

RACE 9 - TOROPA (7) is unbeaten in 5 starts, including 4 this prep. She is perfectly placed for her toughest test to date with 2kg less to carry and even from a wide draw, she should still be too good. On top. SUPERSESSION (3) is a very progressive gelding who has already compiled a very good record and is unbeaten in 2 starts third up. He is down in class for the first time this prep and a win would not be a big surprise. RUSSIAN SNIPER (4) is a stablemate of the second pick and just completed a hat-trick of wins here 5 weeks ago when scoring by nearly a length. He copes with any track condition and is right in this with a big chance of making it 4 wins on the bounce. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (6) rushed home late as favourite when finishing second behind the top pick last time out 3 weeks ago. She meets that runner on even terms at the weights this time and only needs the gaps to come at the right time, to turn the tables. William Pike sticks with her and so do we.
