RACE 1 - DARKNCONFIDENTIAL (5) progressed nicely here last start when rattling home to fill the minors. Peaking third-up and has Pannell sticking. Immediate danger. LOVE YOU BELLE (6) finds the maiden win elusive but has been thereabouts in her last two. In the mix on best form. SO GRAND (8) hasn't fired a shot in her first two runs back but strips fitter and looks better suited over the mile. The booking of Crowther is a good push for her chances. JACKSON RUN (2) comes in fresh after chasing gamely into fourth last start at Wodonga. Has kept the legs ticking over with a trial in between and is worth keeping onside.

RACE 2 - FINE FUTURE (1) missed by a narrow margin when resuming in town last month. Not as effective here last start but should be peaking now as he drops back to 1200m. Leading player. WHISKERS HARBOUR (13) is an Ocean Park gelding on debut for the smart R & C Jolly camp who have a terrific record with first starters. Drawn sticky but gets a key booking in Toeroek and strips fitter for a nice trial here in readiness. Can make a bright start. GOONSUN (2) only warmed to his task late on debut at Strathalbyn, taking good ground off his rivals late. Blinkers going on first time will have him focused but he draws poorly again. Crowther sticking a big push. GIN RUMMY (9) will no doubt come on with the debut run under the belt. Draws better and can feature.

RACE 3 - TOTTORI (6) is a first starter by Territories for the sharp R & C Jolly stable. Impressed in winning a trial at Murray Bridge in readiness. Toeroek sticks from trial. Can make an immediate impact. MERCURY EIGHT (4) wasn't far away on debut here in July but hasn't quite been able to go on with it. Has been freshened with a trial in between to keep the legs ticking over. Watch for sharp improvement. VELVET GEM (13) chased gamely to just miss the minors when resuming here two weeks ago. Fitter now and is expected to make her presence felt. A smaller case can also be made for the resuming FLYING YANK (8).

RACE 4 - SCANDALIST (9) lengthened nicely to the line fresh when missing by a long neck here a fortnight ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and is drawn favourably again. Bold showing anticipated. GINGER SINNER (5) is a Castelvecchio gelding on debut for the smart juvenile stable of R & C Jolly. Showed promising signs in most recent trial here in readiness. Draws to get all the favours and has gun hoop in Toeroek sticking from trials. Bright start anticipated. ARTICULATING (2) gave backers a bold sight on debut here two weeks ago, only to get captured on the line. Strips fitter and is sure to be in this for a very long way. MYSTIC WONDER (14) returns and looks to have come on nicely during the break on the back of a nice trial win here in the lead-up. Don't take lightly.

RACE 5 - TAMETOMO (1) lived up to market expectation last start when leading pillar-to-post. Drawn to advantage on the quick turnaround, no reason he can't repeat the dose. SANTELMO FUEGO (2) strikes a much easier assignment this time after some poor recent efforts. Was a winner in this grade earlier in the prep at Bordertown. Well-placed to give this a shake. STAYING STRONG (3) doesn't win out of turn but is another that will appreciate the drop in grade. In the mix if he brings his A-game. SESAR (4) hasn't won for a very long time but has shown some signs of life this campaign. Keeping safe in what is a weak race.

RACE 6 - Tricky race. GRUELLING (9) hasn't been given much of a chance from wide gates in his two runs back. Strips fitter third-up with Holder taking over from a good draw. Expecting sharp improvement. FLAMBARD (1) is ready to make his return after enjoying a successful debut prep. Lugs the top weight but looks to shoulder his share of ability. SOLAR MIST (6) also resumes and while he hasn't won for a long time he profiles strongly in this line-up. Should be forward enough off recent trial here. Don't take lightly. NANKEEN (3) wasn't far away last start at Naracoorte when chasing gamely into fourth. Knocking on the door. Last-start winner NOITULOVER (8) is another that deserves respect on the back of a handy maiden win here two weeks ago. Will pay to see what the market does with her. Similar story for HYPERNOVA (2).

RACE 7 - TRULY ELSA (6) followed up her dominant maiden win here two back with another bold front running effort in town at the latest. Drop back to a winning trip and tackles an easier grade. Well-placed to make a return to the winner's circle. MINTULEE (1) is yet to strike through this campaign but has been thereabouts. Failed to live up to market expectation in town at the latest but now strikes a more suitable assignment. Main danger. BEAUTY BOUND (4) returns and makes her stable debut for Phillip Stokes. Was a handy enough in NSW, will be interesting to see how she stacks up. THE PLASTICS (5) dug deep to shed her maiden tag last start. Further improvement is anticipated. IN LOVE (7) next best.

RACE 8 - CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (5) returns and usually goes well fresh. Played a role in some solid form races last campaign and should forward enough following recent trial where she was pushed out late. Crowther piloting another push for his chances. ABIT RATTLEY (4) is yet to strike through this campaign but has been thereabouts. Peaking now and gets his chance to break a long run of outs. OUTPOST (2) has been far from his best in his last two starts in town. Easier now and should be nearing a peak effort. Don't dismiss lightly. DAWNBURST (12) didn't offer a shout last start in town when sent around at long odds. Is better than that recent run suggests and can threaten in this grade. L'ESPERANCE ROCK (10) next best.

RACE 9 - CHARM SLINGA (6) is going better than his form suggests this campaign. Found the line nicely in town at his last two starts despite not threatening the winner. Perfectly placed to play a major role. MR TRAFFICANTI (1) made a mess of them here three back in a similar grade. Not as effective in his last two when tackling city grade but is sure to play a more prominent role this time. Holder reunites and is drawn to get all the favours. Main danger. BLIXTEN (2) made light work of his rivals here last start. Slightly tougher this time and isn't drawn as kind but warrants respect. BLUE SPECIAL (3) was too bad to be true last start when always well back. On the short turnaround and is drawn much kinder with Toeroek sticking. Can bounce back sharply. THE ICE CUTTER (10) strips fitter second-up after narrowly missing at Strathalbyn. Warrants consideration.
