Since fitted with two solid trials and can play a leading role with the 52kg.
RACE 2 - FLORINO (1) lightly raced gelding with a ton of ability returning from an eight-month break. Comes to hand quickly and finished second over this track and trip last December. Fitted with two searching trials and looks primed for this with J Mac booked. SOARING PHOENIX (13) has fitness on her side fifth-up and deserves her shot in this tougher contest after giving them a galloping lesson when a slick 2 len winner over 1000m at Muswellbrook on July 29. Down sharply in weight and not to be underestimated. HEART OF VANCOUVER (7) cruised across from the outside gate to score a determined on-pace victory over this trip at the Sapphire Coast on July 28. Berry rides from the low draw and has the right numbers to play a leading role. GUNDY GUY (4) promising sprinter resuming after coming to the end of his prep when a tiring 11th over 1400m in the Sth Wild Card at Goulburn on March 24. Finished second in a recent 800m trial and undefeated over the 1000m. The chances don't end there.
RACE 3 - UNSTOPABULL (2) just over three weeks between runs when getting out late to finish an eye-catching fifth over 1200m at Rosehill last Saturday. Strips fitter now and a senior rider engaged today. Value runner. PATCHOULI DREAM (3) Wangaratta-trained mare who beat Invader Zim two-back over the 1300m here. Tired late when fourth over 1200m at Caulfield in stronger company on July 27. Well drawn again and stays in the mix. ZARROSE (4) well supported when resuming from a four-month break with a tenacious victory over 1400m at Newcastle on July 16. Goes just as well second up and drops 5kg today in this stronger event. Stays in the mix. IT'S A KNOCKOUT (6) was a brave debut winner on the Kenso. Improvement to come and has the positive racing pattern. have to include.
RACE 4 - AGE OF SAIL (1) is fourth-up today and is due for a change of luck. No surprise to see him race a little closer from the inside gate after winding up strongly to finish a narrow second over this trip at Rosehill on July 20. Hard to hold out. Group 3 placegetter OUR ANCHORAGE (5) jumps sharply in grade after returning to the provincials as fav when leading throughout for a slick 6 len victory over 2000m at Hawkesbury in a Cl1 on July 21. Fifth-up for this and expected to perform well. KAPAKIRI (3) relished the extra 400m when a gritty winner over 2400m at Rosehill on July 20. Jumps 2.5kg in weight and further improvement is expected. AWESOME WONDER (10) has the four wins from 26 starts and gets in light with the 2kg claim. Shuffled back from the inside draw when a plugging seventh over 2400m at Rosehill last start. Anywhere near her best could see her surprise a few of her more fancied rivals.
RACE 5 - Group 3 placegetter DANCING ALONE (2) is a classy mare who looks set for a big prep. Undefeated first-up and over this trip. Hasn't been pushed out in two recent trials and no surprise to see her finish over the top of these. BOSTON ROCKS (8) has a sense of timing about him today third-up. Just over a month between runs when holding on well with the 56kg to secure fourth over 1100m at Rosehill on August 3. Drops 4kg in weight in this stronger race and has genuine each-way claims. OUR KOBISON (1) progressive gelding resuming. Will need everything to go right today from the wide draw with the 59kg. Fitted with the two trials and has a good association with J Mac. Group 3 winner SEBONACK (4) resumes with good fresh stats. Returns with a recent Flemington jump out over 800m and stays in the calculations.
RACE 6 - HI DUBAI (7) improving mare who looks ready to tackle this tougher contest from the good gate after returning to form with a solid victory over 1100m here on July 27. Firmer track suits and can win again from the low draw. JUNQUEIRA (2) loomed strongly second-up from the wide gate before condition gave out late when fourth over 1200m at Rosehill on July 20. Well drawn today with the 3kg claim and expected to go close. COSY CORNER (8) meets Hi Dubai better at the weights after going under narrowly when a neck second over 1100m at this track on July 27. Morgan sticks and returned good figures last start. Look for her late. NINGALOO STAR (3) is hard to catch on her day and will appreciate the firmer surface here. Went out fast and wilted late when seventh over 1300m here on July 27. Gets control early and significant jockey change with Nash Rawiller booked.
RACE 7 - SPACE AGE (1) smart gelding starting to put it all together. Has won two of his last three starts, including latest on-speed victory over 1600m here on July 27. Expected to go close again with Wadick's 3kg claim in this easier contest. WEST OF AFRICA (7) up in trip when swooped late with the 59.5kg to score a dominant victory over 1550m at Randwick Kensington on July 17. Won two of his last three starts and confidence is high now. Looks up to this stronger contest. YASUKE (12) big improver at second run back when an eye-catching second over 1400m at Randwick Kensington on July 17. Ready for the mile and comes right into calculations with J Mac taking the ride. Sure to be winding up late from the sticky gate. TIGER TOWN (14) a month between runs when returning good closing splits to finish sixth over 1500m at Rosehill on July 20. Has each-way claims today in this tougher event on the limit weight.
RACE 8 - SHEZANALISTER (10) has fitness on her side third-up and looks up to this stronger contest. Raced on the worst part of the track when sticking to the inside and finishing fourth over 1100m here in the heavy (8) going on July 27. Ready for the 1200m now and can sit just off the hot tempo and pounce late. Group 3 winner SEMILLION (2) is a consistent type who gave his all when a hard-fought second over 1200m in the G3 Bletchingly Stakes at Caulfield on July 27. Will need luck early from the draw but has the ability to take a hand in the finish. Group 3 winner SCHWARZ (3) resumes after a break of ten weeks. Came to the end of his prep when 13th in the G3 Fred Best over 1400m at Eagle Farm on June 1. Fitted with a sharp trial win over 900m and looks under the odds at his current price. Group 2 winner LOCH EAGLE (1) resumes with a good fresh record over this track and trip. Fitted with two even trials and gets the right tempo. Keep safe.
RACE 9 - Group 3 placegetter GALERON (4) is holding his form well and gets in much better at the weights today after charging late with the 61kg when a narrow second over 1600m here on July 27. Drawn to get the right run and will relish the extra distance. Can go one better. ARAMCO (9) underrated gelding with the tidy record of five wins from 10 starts. Sat on the speed second-up when a gritty winner over 1800m here four weeks ago. Expected to go through his grades this time in. Look for him late. GOLDEN PATH (2) staying find of the winter who couldn't have been more impressive when demolishing a handy field by 3.5 lens over 2000m in the LR W J McKell Cup at Rosehill on June 29. Since fitted with a recent trial placing and races best fresh. Group 3 winner SUPER STRIKE (7) improved sharply at latest with the 60kg when a narrow second to Aramco over 1800m here on July 13. Not asked to do much in a recent trial and the big weight swing can see him take a hand in the finish.
RACE 10 - IRON MAN (7) progressive gelding undefeated in two runs this time in. Jumped in grade when he rounded them up effortlessly to score by 1.2 lens over 1200m at Rosehill on July 20. Further improvement to come and can race a little closer from the good gate. Hard to stop again. WILLAIDOW (6) meets Iron Man better at the weights today after going out hard on resumption when a tiring second over 1200m at Rosehill on July 20. Goes just as well second-up and should have little trouble getting across from the wide gate. Blinkers off and the visors go on. KING OF NAPLES (3) fourth-up for this and saves his best for this track and trip. Can work across from the sticky draw and take a hand in the finish. WORLD ALLIANCE (11) comes out of a handy race after lugging the 59.5kg when fifth behind Hi Dubai over 1100m here on July 27. Drops nicely in the weights and can race closer from the low draw. Sure to be strong through the line.
