RACE 1 - The babies kick us off and it looks a race in two. BETTER SHOW (1) was a dominant winner here over the sprint trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Winning hoop Morrison sticks in the saddle and she should give this a mighty shake. KOBAYASTAR (2) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top-four in four of five starts to date including saluting around this circuit two back. Looms as the only danger. FABULOUS HOFFA (4) will strip fitter second-up from the spell and can trouble the judge with luck in running. SNEAKY FREDDY (7) gets in well at the weights with the claim and may earn some minor money.
RACE 2 - THE EIGHTH I AM (5) has been right there at the past three outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be rock-hard fit for this and can finally shed the maiden tag. Former NSW galloper MRS GLOOP (2) has finished runner-up in both runs since moving north and looks to be nearing that elusive maiden victory. Can go one better against this lot. CONVERTOR (1) was well supported when second here on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. Right in this. DATINKA (3) placed around this circuit last time out and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. Top-three candidate. JUST LIKE ROSIE (8) next best with Wiggins on from the low draw.
RACE 3 - MOOLOOLABA (4) has grown a leg since joining the new stable with four wins and a second from five outings all over this track and trip. Racing with a lot of confidence now and is the one they all have to run down. DAWN STRIKE (7) got the job done last time out and will have taken some confidence from that victory. In the mix. SUCH A WHIT (5) has placed over this course and distance and is drawn to get across easily from gate two. Can play a role in the finish. EROE (6) rounds out the selections.
RACE 4 - ROWEINER'S DANCE (6) loves this track and trip with nine wins and a second from just 11 attempts, gets some weight off with the claim and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Hard to go past. HURTLE (5) resumes here but the form he showed before the spell was more than good enough to feature in this. Can retrun in winning order. CIRCULARITY (1) has won around this circuit and is another to get some weight relief. Top-three hope on best form. ALL TIME LEGEND (2) has placed two from two over this course and distance and looks one for the multiples. FOCUS (8) best of the rest.
RACE 5 - LUCKY ROLLA (3) has hit a purple patch of form this preparation shedding the maiden tag here two back before just missing the placings last time out. Will be at peak fitness now fourth-up from the spell and looks the one they all have to run down. BRADSHAW (6) resumes here but didn't do much wrong in his first campaign with a win and three placings from just four outings. Looks the runner in this field with the most upside. SUPER TWENTY THREE (4) has placed three from four around this circuit and will strip fitter second-up. In the mix. EXTRA FREE (8) is a bit of a hit or miss type but can feature if he brings his A-game. WHITE ARENDELLE (9) draws low and gets the claim. May earn some minor money.
RACE 6 - WEMYSS (7) loves it here around her home circuit with a win and two seconds from just four outings and winning rider Thomas sticks in the irons. Will be near her peak now third-up from the spell and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. BOOGIE WONDERLAND (2) resumes here but showed enough early last preparation to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Can return in fine fashion. DICKIN MEDAL (3) has been thereabouts in all three runs this campaign and is drawn to get a soft run in transit from gate three. Top-three credentials. LISTEN LISTEN (4) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Can bounce back. FLAMING HOMER (1) next best with Wiggins on board.
RACE 7 - SWEET KISSES (1) has been in great form recently, the latest effort a dominant four length romp over 1400m at Cairns. Ideally placed against this lot and is sure to take a ton of beating again. CENTRAL PARK (3) just missed the placings here at the latest effort but prior to that had strung two wins together on the bounce. Winning hoop Layt reunites and can play a major role in the outcome. BETTA AL (4) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top-five in all six runs this preparation. A must for the multiples. DECRYPTING GOLD (5) has won over this track and trip and rarely puts in a poor one. Forward showing expected. BEAU RAIN (2) best of the rest in a race with plenty of chances.
RACE 8 - HARVESTA (8) has placed three of six over this trip and is drawn to get across easily from gate three. Should give backers a sight from a good spot in running and think that he can go on and make the most of the scenario. DEVIL'S INN (5) has hit the top-four at his past six starts and is one from one over this distance range. Cannot be discounted. MISSION HOUSE (12) hit the line strongly to salute here first-up and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Has won second-up before and must be respected. HARROW (3) strips fitter second-up, draws the inside alley and gets Wiggins back in the saddle. Ticks a few boxes.
RACE 9 - BEAUTY BOOM (4) returned to the winners' stall over this course and distance last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim and should be right there when the whips are cracking. Former NSW galloper REGGIE'S BOY (3) has been very honest this time in hitting the top-four in all six outings and should find this a touch easier than what he faced down south. Definite winning hope. DARK REBEL (8) has placed three from three over this track and trip and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Shapes as one to consider. BRING ME FLOWERS (9) resumes here but has won two of five first-up and may run a race while fresh. The well-related CRYSTAL CHIEF (2) (half to G3 winner and G1 placed Crystal Dreamer) next in line.
