RACE 1 - WANARUAH (6) is a Snitzel colt on debut for Waterhouse/Bott. Won a recent 1050m trial at Randwick in good style, suggesting he is forward enough to play a big role in a moderate maiden. STRAAND BEAUTY (9) settled last and tried hard but was left with too much to do on debut last start over this course and distance. Backs up just nine days later which is a positive sign from the stable. Sure to go well. RAILWAY MAN (8) last appeared when an unplaced favourite on debut over this distance on the Kensington track in January. Well-bred colt who should have more to offer this prep. HOUDINI SPIRIT (4) is a Harry Angel first starter who won a recent Hawkesbury trial in great style. Looks to have plenty of ability. HELL TO PAY (3) is on debut for the John O'Shea stable. Finished third to Wanaruah in his latest trial. Cannot be ruled out.

RACE 2 - A Warwick Farm maiden over 1100m a fortnight ago is the key form reference. POISED (2) engaged in a battle for the lead on debut last start in that race then battled on gamely only to be nailed close to home. Don't expect there will be quite as much pressure up from this time and she will prove tough to reel in. CINSAULT (1) made up many lengths to grab third when resuming last start in that maiden at the Farm, finishing just a long neck behind Poised. Can settle a couple of pairs closer today out to this trip and she looks the obvious threat. GOOD SORT (3) was fourth in the same Warwick Farm race a fortnight ago when fresh from a five-month spell. Didn't give up that day and the extra 150m looks a nice progression. LOVEHUNTER (11) and HUMID (10) were safely held in sixth and seventh respectively in the same race when making their debuts. Both are open to plenty of improvement.

RACE 3 - SUMMER LOVING (7) is the class runner returning from a 38-week spell. Tackled the best fillies in training when last in work and was most competitive, beaten under two lengths in Group Twos behind the likes of Autumn Ballet and Tiz Invincible. Recent trial winner who looks the one to beat despite the lay-off. SUMMER SOIREE (8) recorded her fourth minor placing from six starts when she led only to be collared on the line over 1300m at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Very honest and is a real threat with the light weight. GRASSBURN (4) beat all but the talented Depth Of Character over this course and distance at her last run three weeks ago. Progressive filly with definite claims. Russian Revolution debutante MADAM INSTRIFE (6) is a half-sister to Group One winner Invincibella. Three-time trial winner who demands attention. KHAZNAH (5) has placed 5/5 so she is difficult to leave out with the help of the inside draw.

RACE 4 - VIVEZZA (10) just missed first-up over 1400m at the Kensington track then was slow to recover after finishing third at $1.40 over the mile at Hawkesbury last start. The one to beat on her best figures so that latest effort is worth forgiving under the circumstances. CHEERGAL (5) appreciated the firmer ground and improved sharply when second-up last start, battling on well for second as favourite over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Cherry ripe now and bred to want this sort of trip. LENAPE VIBE (4) failed to threaten when in the red last start over 1600m at Kembla. Lightly raced and the SP profile suggests he has more to offer. SWEET HEAVEN (9) found the line well in a Class 1 over 1600m at Wyong last time. Lightly raced and open to further improvement. EXPOSITION (3) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is right in the mix.

RACE 5 - REMATCH (2) wound up strongly from midfield on the turn to narrowly win a Rosehill Highway over 1500m in heavy going last start. Consistent gelding who carries weight well. Steps up to 1900m which holds no fears - he was beaten a length in Saturday open company over 2000m last prep. Clear top pick. TAJAWAL (4) wasn't asked for an effort in the run home in very heavy conditions at Rosehill last time out so forget the result. Neasham-trained import having his third Australian run and can show up now that he gets out over a bit more ground. Victorian visitor LOCO (1) did his best work late to get up for third over the mile at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Finished fourth in the SA Derby in 2023 so this extra trip is ideal at the third run back from a long break. GO TROPPO (5) wasn't beaten far in a similar race here nine days ago. Very fit and sure to be thereabouts again. MONARCHS BRAE (6) is twice a winner here at this trip and should be peaking third-up.

RACE 6 - THE GREAT HOUDINI (6) raced keenly in the early stages then copped a check in the straight which ended his challenge last start over this distance at the Kensington track. Handy gelding who is rock hard fit and finds a suitable race today - can turn things around. VALIANCY (9) started favourite in a Saturday class race at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago but didn't run on as expected at the end of 1200m. Down in class and the blinkers go on so she is open to plenty of improvement. AMNESTY (2) made up plenty of ground to finish less than three lengths behind the talented The Black Cloud when resuming over 1000m at Randwick recently. Better placed out to this trip and will be tough to hold out. MOLLY NAILS (4) did her best work late at the Farm when fresh from a spell last start. Distance specialist with the class to test this field. IRON MAN (8) resumes. Placed 3/3 when fresh and yet to miss the frame in four runs at this distance. Solid credentials.

RACE 7 - FAIRWAY STAR (8) settled towards the tail of the field then worked home fairly to finish midfield over 1400m at Flemington last start. Fitter for two runs back from a break and she has a win and a placing from two tries at or around this distance. Can improve enough to score. EDMOND (6) showed pace but dropped right out when resuming over 1300m at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Stats here and at this trip are solid. Has only missed the frame once in six second-up runs so expect him to improve sharply. THE LITTLE PUMPER (3) has met with support in his two runs this prep but has been a shade disappointing. Worth another chance with blinkers applied for the first time and a bit of relief at the weights after Amy McLucas' claim. Victorian THE CREATOR (1) is worth considering despite a seven-week gap between runs. HELLFIRE EXPRESS (2) was too bad to be true first-up at Randwick. Good second-up performer who likes Canterbury so she can bounce back without surprising.
