Race 1 on the card is set to step at 6:41pm with the last, race 10 pencilled in for two minutes to ten o’clock. The feature races on the card, The QLD Distance & Sprint Finals are races 7 & 8. R2 N2 ANNA BELLA

Best bet on the card, maps to absolute perfection with a wide runner in 3 and dog with minimal pace inside in 1. Was massive last start off a wide draw and expect to lead off the inside draw. Has a few lengths on this field and no wonder it’s been backed. Possesses good early speed and mid race pace. Best on the card!

R6 N2 TRICKY MICKY

Made it a best last week and was the victim of a wide draw. Finds a low draw, has pace inside who I think we can cross and burn mid race. Slow beginner next door in 3 and gets cover from a mid track runner in 4. Was brilliant two starts back, can repeat and win.

VALUE BETS

R1 N5 BETTY ROSE

Honestly staggered at the price and feel it should be half the current quote. Has decent early pace which allows to find a forward position but has great mid race pace and is strong late. Matched a slick type last start and mapped ideal in this. Mad railer in 4 and the inside brigade are moderate early. Each way!!

R5 N1 QUICK SHOT

Drawn to feature and maps perfect. Wide runner in 2 who will provide ample room to slide the rail and be a major player. Couldn’t cross last week off a wide draw and strikes the red tonight. Record off inside draws good and expect a bold run. Will shorten!

R7 N1 LIGHT OF MINE

Enormous last start and looks to be in it up to her eyeballs. Strikes a great map and a dog outside with pace and box 4 running line. Not the best beginner and lacks a serious turn of foot but is incredibly strong and should be banging the door down late. Loved a rails draw, in elite hands and beaten some talent of late. Yes!
