Sale Race 8 – Dreams Come True

The first two home have both gone very well under different scenarios. The pace was very strong here resulting in clearly the fastest time figure on the card, and Dreams Come True was simply too far off the speed to win. The winner, Dark Simba, sat close and tracked the speed but won with authority and can also be followed, but Dreams Come True just needs more ground to be showing his best.

Canterbury Race 5 – Assailant

Thought this was a solid enough Australian debut by the Waterhouse & Bott trained gelding by Dubawi. The pace was good on a genuinely heavy track and he stuck on well for third with gaps behind. A RAS rating of 90 isn't far off his overseas peak of 96 and with more ground he can potentially win a couple over the Winter months.
