Midweek racing from Sandown Hillside and Warwick Farm and we’ve got a horse to follow from each meeting.
Sandown Hillside Race 5 – Bluestone
Big win from this lightly raced stayer who was having just his fourth career start against some far more seasoned types, and the way the race panned out it wouldn't have been a surprise to see him spit the dummy. Drawn inside, he was badly held up on multiple occasions before finally darting back to the fence and surging late. It was a professional win and the time was good overall. He can continue to progress and I'd suggest he's at least up to Saturday grade.
Warwick Farm Race 2 – Change My Address
Tricky day with very heavy conditions but the two-year-old race looks the pick with Change My Address winning well on debut for the John Sargeant yard. She's certainly bred to swim, by Exceedance out of a Sebring mare, and she did just that, relishing the conditions in strong time. They've run faster overall than the older horses one race later which is always a good sign. With the right placement, especially on wet ground, she can keep winning.
