Midweek racing from Canterbury and we’ve got a couple of horses to follow.
Canterbury Race 1 – Miss Freelove
Interesting comparison here between the opening two races with Big Red Tequila winning the opener impressively in faster time, however it must be noted that Big Red Tequila is a three-year-old while Miss Freelove is two. She did it strongly from the front on debut and was only a few lengths slower than the than the older horse the race prior. Looks smart and can be followed.
Canterbury Race 5- Brave One
Tough watch for those on the favourite in a messy, small field. He jumped okay but was taken back, and as the field bunched Zac Lloyd went very wide, very early. Despite that, he looked the winner at the 200m but fitness gave out late off that looping effort. Can make amends second up.
