We have to wait until the last of the day but Peter Hardacre looks to have a progressive filly on his hands in Right Of Veto .

She dominated her maiden when resuming at Oakbank in February when running to 74+ the Racing and Sports ratings scale. The + highlights how strong she was finishing and had she been ridden more efficiently, say closer in running, she would've won by further.

The three-year-old progressed nicely last start when sent to town contesting a strong Bm0-68. Racing more prominently under Teagan Voorham, she chased strongly into second behind the promising Sabaj, who subsequently finished a narrow second in the Morphettville Guineas after jumping $1.80.

Right Of Veto now drops in grade and carries a stack of upside third-up against more exposed rivals. Expecting her to get the job done with a touch of class.

Looking for a bit of value, Montepulciano from the Richard & Chantelle Jolly yard represents just that for me in race six (6).

Admittedly the well-tried seven-year-old was no match for them last start in the Group 3 Lord Reims Stakes but this is certainly not that.

While he hasn't won for a long time, he has pushed some handier types during that period and boasts peaks better than his rivals. Expect him to settle back early and be climbing over their backs in the straight.
