RACE 1 - Tricky. CHAMPAGNE CATHAY (4) resumes and has been unlucky not to have broken through. She will have come on and has trialled twice. Draws inside and will get every chance. GOD'LL GETYA (2) resumes and has pieces of form that read well for a race of this calibre. He races forward and will be naturally improved. GOD SHE'S SASSY (5) will run along and raced well at Pinjarra before the spell. Her best came here on debut when she led beaten a whisker. She has plenty of scope for improvement. MORF (7) debuts and has been well trialled. The Luke Fernie yard is going through a flat patch but it would be no surprise to see this fellow race well.

RACE 2 - ANKAREEDA (9) came off a Lark Hill trial win and was narrowly beaten first up here as favourite. Maps well and keeps the gun jockey. Strips fitter briefly freshened and is likely to have them covered. DIAMONDS'N'RUBIES (8) has been narrowly beaten here at both starts this preparation, bet a short-priced favourite in both. Has an inside gate today and will be further improved. She shapes the danger. MAJESTIC PRINCESS (7) resumed here and was cruelled by a wide barrier. She brought strong form to that and the longer sprint should suit. Chris Parnham sticking aboard is a positive and the mare has claims. GALILEA (5) resumes and owns a Lark Hill trial. She can come back better and may be the best of the remainder.

RACE 3 - TRIPLE THE CHANT (9) was narrowly beaten at Scarpside over 1500m before spelling and then raced favourite here first up and didn't have the best of it when finding one much too good. Impressed regardless and map better today. Fitter and is sure to go close. SPANGLEDSTAR (8) has been going well and deserves to break through. Has an awkward gate but she's been kept on the fresh side and can bounce back into the finish. YANKEE ACE (2) peaks today and has been within range both here and at Bunbury. Maps well and Chris Parnham staying aboard is a decent push for his chances. CHEST OUT SWAGGER (1) had no luck first up. He brought decent form to that and the longer sprint should suit.

RACE 4 - MIDNIGHT STAR (10) impressed at odds narrowly beaten at Bunbury on debut and then came here and was narrowly beaten stepping up to this trip. Draws low and the in-form CJP stays in the saddle. Fitter again and she should be winning. IFF YOU'RE READY (8) found her best form beaten less than 2L at Scarpside over 1500m. She can get into the finish building on that. DECISION MAKER (1) would be in the finish at best and jumped from a cruel gate first-up but looked in need of the outing regardless. He's placed 2/3 second up and the step up to the mile suits. A much better effort is likely. NOBLE REIGN (2) peaks and got closer this trip here in the Midnight Star race. Fiore rides and trust her to manage the awkward barrier.

RACE 5 - Not a lot of depth. PERCUSSION PRINCE (6) looked set to run well here over this trip, but settled too far back and had no luck after. Pike has been aboard his last two and stays with him. Peaks for this and he can sit closer today. Worth another chance. KHUTOS (4) spiked his figures narrowly beaten here second-up. Draws inside and Chris Parnham rides today. Fitter and rates to get into the finish. HIGH COMMISSION (2) resumes for the top barn and kicking off over a mile won't be an issue. He's raced well in stronger races and placed in a recent trial with Pike aboard. He will give away a start but the 3kg claim brings him into it. CHEROKEE MISS (3) started here at long odds in stronger and did a good job beaten 2.2L after settling at the back half of the field. The grade suits and she will be around the mark holding that form.

RACE 6 - AMARLIME (3) is busting to win and keeps improving. Missed a whisker here last time as a short-priced favourite and Chris Parnham is aboard today replacing Pike. Tough to beat with average luck. Pike sticks with COSMIC ECLIPSE (4) who is a promising mare in the top stable. Resumed with an easy CL1 win and then settled at the back of the field at Bunbury and did a good job beaten 1.6L She's going to have to go it the hard way again and that's the niggle. CHOUX SHOE (8) resumed with a nose defeat here and couldn't have been more impressive jumping from a cruel barrier. Won her only second-up start and draws inside today. Carries just 53.5kg with the claim and that brings her right into it. DASHING ERIKA (5) would be very competitive at best and looked a run short first up. The longer sprint suits and she can use an inside barrier. Won her only second-up outing and Fiore sticks aboard. She's won 2/3 on the galloper.

RACE 7 - Tricky. ROYAL TROOPER (2) stepped up to this trip and improved sharply when blitzing the Maidens here by 4.7L. Couldn't have been more impressive and the apprentice sticks aboard and claims 3kg today. Peaks and can go on with the job. MY IDOL (1) won a CL5 at Scarpside over a mile and then wasn't far away at Pinjarra following in much stronger than this. He gives every sign that the middle distance will suit and is likely to be right into the finish. COVENTRY REEF (4) led and missed a nose here this trip from the front and then came back and didn't manage the wide gate when dropping back to the mile. Keeps the 3kg claim and jumps from an inside barrier today. He will run along and can get back on track. WASN'T ME (3) missed a nose this track/trip two back and that would see him in the mix.
