RACE 1 - TOBIAN (2) comes into this on the back of a narrow defeat at Northam last start over the mile, going under in a photo finish. He was solid before that at Pinjarra over 1800m, so up to 2000m now won't be an issue. He looks to get his chance from the barrier and he can shed the maiden tag this time around. AHH CHOUX (4) looks ready to improve third-up and out to this trip with the booking of Brad Parnham a good push for her chances. It's her first time at the trip, but her racing pattern hints that it's suitable and he appears the main danger. CHOICE ATTRACTION (5) disappointed last start but was in good touch prior, being only 2L away at this track and trip two starts back. Fiore rides now and an improved effort is anticipated. BEGAAFD (3) comes through the same race as Choice Attraction last start and has to be included. LEAD CINGA (6) is next best.

RACE 2 - CROWS (6) was only fair first-up at Pinjarra down the straight course, though this looks a better scenario for her second-up. Chris Parnham remaining in the saddle is a positive sign and her breeding suggests getting out in trip should suit. Improved nicely second-up in her debut campaign and goes on top. EARL IT IS (1) didn't come up earlier this year and the stable has hit the reset button, now 66 days between efforts. His form in the campaign prior was great and he should be close to the speed from a suitable gate. Can bounce back. SCENIC WINGS (4) resumed in good order as a $26 chance down the Pinjarra Straight and beat Crows on that occasion. Can land in a similar position and should be in the finish. BUDERIM (2) showed good improvement in his most recent trial and is worth including on debut. TRADED MY SHOES (9) looked good in his only outing at Bunbury and is not to be discounted on debut.

RACE 3 - ASPHALT (2) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory, just missing in a photo two back before a 0.9L defeat over 1690m most recently. He was slowly away there last start but just couldn't hold on for the win. Back in trip now doesn't look an issue and with a cleaner getaway, he can shed the maiden tag. NEW HYMN SHEET (8) disappointed here last start following a solid debut performance at Northam. She'll be fitter for that run and she did jump right in the market as well. The 3kg claim comes in handy and improvement is likely. SECRET INTENT (6) finished off fairly first-up over 1200m at Pinjarra when taken back from the wide alley. She's likely to be back again, but she was good second-up last campaign and she'll be flying late. COUSIN MORTIMER (1) was good from the back at Northam last start and has claims. PURE SILVER (10) can improve second-up and onto a firmer surface.

RACE 4 - LADY MAYFLOWER (5) found one better two back before leading last start at Northam and being gunned down late in the race. The ear muffs go on now to help her settle and she's shown she has the speed to cross from out wide. Likely to be in the finish once again. SURROUND ME (9) has trialled well coming into this event and looks ready to strike first-up for Pike, who sticks from her latest outing. Her last start before a spell produced some strong form and it wouldn't surprise to see her return in good order. LEMMOR (7) drops right back in trip today in an interesting move but she's not out of this at her best. PILBRA (4) won't be far away on debut.

RACE 5 - TOP OF THE WALK (2) won well two back at this track and trip before rising to Saturday grade last start and never really featuring. Fiore hops back in the saddle today and this looks a much better race for him. Should be doing his best work late in the race. PLAYFUL STAR (4) bled at the end of last campaign and her recent trial was very solid under Luke Campbell, who remains in the irons. She had shown some promise prior to that and this looks to shape nicely for her. Can resume on winning terms. ALOT OF ROSES (3) is another on resumption who disappointed at the end of last campaign, though she did have excuses that day. She should be close to the speed from an inside barrier and she'll be right there at the finish. ALABAMA ELEGANCE (5) got the job done at Kalgoorlie last start and that form has already been franked. Can go back-to-back.

RACE 6 - SANTANOVA (5) looks a progressive filly and got the job done by 0.8L at Northam last time out. It looks as though she's ready to go on with the job and the slight rise in trip shouldn't be an issue. Chris Parnham sticks and she looks poised to strike once again. LINDEN'S GOLD (3) drops back in trip again after being caught late in the race. He didn't have the best of luck there however and now Pike hops in the saddle. Sure to go close if he can run up to his latest figures. IMAPAGETHREE GIRL (9) hit the line nicely at Kalgoorlie last start and draws better this time with Fiore now doing the steering. She's a third-up winner in the past and she can play a major role in the outcome. DUKE OF WELLINGTON (11) wasn't beaten far here last start and the form out of that race has worked out well. Has to be included. ZOUBOLTZ (8) can sit closer this time around and the from coming from his last start has stacked up well. Include.

RACE 7 - The feature of the day and BUCKETS RIDGE (4) was very impressive late in the Strickland Stakes. The pace there was farcical and he really had no chance from the top of the straight. Expecting him to sit a touch closer this time and if there's more pace on, he can go one better. SIMPLY (8) jumps right up in trip third-up into the campaign but this looks a target with Pike hopping in the saddle from an inside barrier. He's down in the weights and his third-up record is solid. Wasn't disgraces in the Perth Cup lead ups last campaign and he can land the knockout blow. GINGER BAKER (2) dictated the speed in the Strickland and sprinted well, only beaten 1.9L. He's likely to be up front yet again under Brad Parnham and he'll give a bold sight up front. PLAYHOUSE PATRON (5) may also be up front in the run and is proven over this trip. Can be in the finish. FEAR THE WIND (6) is next best third-up into the campaign.

RACE 8 - OISIN (2) has just missed his past couple over this trip and is inching closer to another victory. He's played the role of Bridesmaid recently, however the figures he's running stack right up in this field. The wide draw is a niggle, but he's hard to be against on his recent form. MASTER TACTICIAN (7) ran over the top to score by 0.9L at this track last time out. The wide draw means he'll be back in the run once again, but a good tempo should be good enough to see him running home over the top. KERMELIA (11) drops right back in trip today after a couple of good efforts at Northam recently. Chis Parnham rides now and while she may end up back in the run, she'll be very strong late in the race. YALLINGUP GIRL (12) disappointed last start but is better than that. Claim comes in handy and she can bounce back to form back in grade. MR TALENTINO (10) was sound first-up and can build on that performance.
