RACE 1 - READY FOR ZION (9) resumes off a narrow defeat at Eagle Farm and brings a solid trial. She keeps the handy 2kg claim and will be naturally improved. Maps for the run of the race and will go close on what we've seen. SPANISH TREASURE (1) debuts for the top stable and missed a nose in a recent trial at Doomben. Lang sticks from that and brings a 1.5 kg claim. Looks to have good ability. SPECIAL ARTIST (2) was expected to need the outing on debut and did a good job placing from well back in the field. Draws better today and deserves plenty of consideration with that under the belt. CRYPTIC BEAUTY (12) didn't have the best of it on debut and it was a tidy effort. Had trialled well into that and draws inside with Jones sticking. Keep very safe.

RACE 2 - SWEET HESITATION (9) was expected to win at Toowoomba on debut but found one better. She's trialled sharply for her return and jumps from an inside barrier. She will be naturally improved and with the race experience will take plenty of beating.CERETTI (6) debuts for the premier stable and has trialled at Doomben. Jones is a key jockey engagement and no surprise to see her feature. WAX ON WAX OFF (5) debuts and owns two trial wins. Looks the goods and maps well. A bold run is anticipated. RUTHVEN RUSH (3) also debuts and he won a recent Gatton trial by a space. He deserves planty of consideration as well.

RACE 3 - BOOM BREAK (4) will be better for the two solid efforts at Doomben and he led the latest. Finally draws an inside barrier and Maloney takes over from Jones. Has the first time blinkers and he's ready to win. Jones rides stablemate BOMBARD (7) who has switched from the Bjorn Baker yard in Sydney. Draws awkwardly but her best efforts more than stack up and she has a Deagon trial under the saddle. The betting moves will tell plenty. Ditto with BRAZEN ACT (1), who was last seen when heavily bet and narrowly beaten at Doomben. Resumes off a trial placing there and is likely to race forward with cover. SIGLO DE ORO (9) resumes much improved at Doomben on speed and then led and missed a whisker in NSW country. Goes wet and dry and is worth consideration.

RACE 4 - The Gollan yard holds a strong hand. INDAZA (6) is busting to win. She went close at Doomben last time and the in-form Jones is reunited. She's likely to push forward and comes back to a shorter sprint briefly freshened. Gets her chance. CHERISH THE DAY (10) resumes for the sharp Vandyke stable and has switched from a top Victorian barn on a 66-day return. Raced a short-priced favourite at her last two and her best figures more than stack up. I AM CAVIAR (1) resumed for Gollan heavily bet at Toowoomba and ran into a place. He'd come off a comfortable Doomben trial win and Maloney replaces the 2kg apprentice. He's proven second-up and quick improvement is likely. Stablemate ECCLESTONE (3) resumes and brings good form. Has a 1.5kg claim and is likely to ride the speed. Hasn't raced under 1200m but the early markets suggest it won't be a problem.

RACE 5 - DIANA'S AFFAIR (8) stepped up to a mile and was back to his best winning a CL3 easily at Doomben. Jones is a key jockey booking and he maps for the run of the race. Carries less weight and the extra metres should hold no fears. He can go on with the job. TWIGMAN (5) picked up impressively and was too good for the 66 graders at the Gold Coast over this trip 25 days ago. He's had two trials since and draws for a soft run. A player. MISS CHENERY (10) is knocking on the door and her numbers stack up. Draws the outside and tumbles in weight. That brings her right into it. CHAYSE 'N' ARTIE (2) is third up with more to give. The longer distance suits and he can't be ruled out. GRINZINGER KNIGHT (1) continues to race well and won a 75 at Doomben last time over 1650m. He races forward and keeps Lang's 1.5kg claim. In the mix.

RACE 6 - NOVEMBER SUN (10) brings strong Doomben form and missed a whisker last time heavily bet. Stays down in the weights and is ready to win. FACUNDO (4) was quickly back on track winning at Doomben and he has a low barrier and 2kg claim this time. He also presents fitter and has decent clisms. ESTRONDO (1) impressed winning easily at the Sunshine Coast and then switched to a good surface at Ipswich and didn't have the best of it. A top hoop is booked and a bounce isn't out of the question. HEAVENLY IMPACT (3) won an Open 3 here rating well and and has contested Group and Stakes company since. This is much more suitable and he draws to get every chance. FIREFORCE (9) tends to mix the form but his best would give him a hope.

RACE 7 - BINDI'S CHOICE (10) resumes for the premier barn and has switched from David Pfieffer in NSW on a 144-day return. Her best is good enough and she'll carry just 52kg with Lang's claim. She's won fresh and has trialled well. Draws inside and a bold run is likely. Stablemate GIVE GIGGLES (5) didn't have much luck at Ipswich but had threatened there the two before. Briefly freshened and Jones' engagement is a decent push for her chance. WEIGALL TIGER (1) looked short of a run first-up in stronger despite the decent market support. He's won 2/4 second up and is likely to control the race. Is sure to be right in it. VOLCANIC LOVE (3) resumes and is proven fresh. He's well-performed and can't be ruled out.

RACE 8 - This is tough. RASHFORD (17) was back to his best when narrowly beaten at Doomben on a slow track over this distance and then jumped favourite (again) there and was plain on a good surface (vet cleared). He's back after 14 days so all must be in order. Has a low gate and a 2kg claim and is worth another chance. BOONDOCKS (7) spiked his figures beaten 2L in a 70 at Doomben and the former Victorian is ready for the step up to the mile. Peaks and should be right in it. FLYWHEEL (9) found one better at Doomben (Rashford favourite) and got even closer there the outing prior. He has to manage a wide gate but Maloney is a key jockey engagement. A player. ZAHER (12) brings narrow defeats from Doomben and is back a level. Will be hitting the line and deserves another win.

RACE 9 - Another tricky affair. SIMPLY FUN (7) threatened in some decent races last preparation and resumed with a 1.5L defeat this grade at Doomben. He is proven second-up and maps for a soft run. Has the tongue tie applied for the first time and Cartwright knows him well. VELOZES (13) presents third up for the premier stable (Gollan) and the in-form Jones sticks aboard. Brings two tidy efforts from Doomben and won her only third-up start. She has more to give over the longer sprint. FIRST MAN (4) was an easy Gold Coast Maiden winner building on near misses here and at Doomben. He will race forward from an inside barrier and has plenty of scope for improvement. He's been freshened and kept up to the mark with a positive trial. MAKE A CALL (5) wasn't beaten far in the Hawkesbury Guineas before switching to the Gollan yard. Third up now and is ready to show more. Has a wide gate but Maloney is reunited and count on him to manage.
