RACE 1 - SLAM DUNK (8) comes here in peak form with a distinct liking for heavy tracks. Taken to the front when nailed late in a tight finish over 1600m at Wyong. Will benefit again with Nock's claim. Goes close. COVERT THINKING (2) staying bred filly improving with racing in her first prep. Warmed up late at her second career start with an encouraging second over 1500m at Newcastle. Bumped into a promising filly last time and is capable of going one better. SOUTHERN PRINCE (4) over-raced in the early and middle stages and lost a plate in the run when a plugging fifth over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Looking for the mile now and sure to be strong late. MAGENTA SHORES (6) recent efforts have been sound and comes here with a fitness edge over most of these. Surged across from the wide gate when a tough on pace third over 1600m at Goulburn. Leading contender.

RACE 2 - OKAMI STAR (5) hard fit gelding racing in career best form. Up in grade when a tenacious on pace fourth over this trip at Hawkesbury. Has more to offer and is proven in the conditions. CHA CHA CHA (7) rewarded for her consistency when running her rivals ragged with a gritty on pace victory over 1630m at Wyong. Winning rider sticks and is sure to be thereabouts again. LENNOX (1) failed to fire at his first Australian outing when a fading eighth over 1600m at Warwick Farm. Strips fitter and look for him late. HOVLAND (2) found the trip short of his best on resumption when a plugging sixth over 1350m at Wyong. Undefeated second up and will keep improving as he gets out in trip.

RACE 3 - NOBLE RUBY (5) has a big fitness edge over these but has yet to be tested on a heavy track. Given every chance in the run when a plugging third over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Sure to be thereabouts. NOW YOU'VE DONE IT (2) handy Zoustar filly who returns from a lengthy break. Had mixed luck in two career runs and looks ready to go after two even trials. Will be in this for a long way with the blinkers and tongue-tie added from the good draw. LOBLOLLY (6) smaller field can see her improve sharply after failing to finish off at her first run back when ninth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Claim helps from the low draw. QUEEN OF THORNS (7) hardly set the world alight in three runs and worth another chance today third up. Will go forward from the draw and improvement is anticipated.

RACE 4 - DONWON (1) eight-start maiden with his hoof on the till in this average contest. Three weeks between runs second up when a plugging fifth over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Assess on his good first-up minor placing in town. No excuses with the claim and placed on a heavy track. DORALEE (4) frustrating filly who looks placed to advantage third up. Gritty effort from the outside gate when stalking the speed to finish third over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Has a few gear changes heading into this and sure to be thereabouts again. CITY GOLD FIELD (2) total forgive from the wide gate on debut when a plugging fifth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Expect to see him ridden with more intent now the blinkers have been added. Big improver. LUMINESCE (5) Anthony Mountney trained three-year-old filly by Pride Of Dubai from Glistening Light on debut. Only the one trial when scoring over 800m at Kembla Grange. Worth more than a passing glance from the good gate.

RACE 5 - FORMAL (1) in great form this time in and no surprise to see a rinse and repeat after smashing his rivals by 4 lens over 1000m at Wyong in the heavy conditions. Up slightly in weight and will relish Osmond's claim again from the inside gate. BODGIE (5) kept fresh and indicated he was back to his best when closing off strongly for a narrow third over 1100m at Wyong in this class. Fresh again and has an okay record at this track. JINSOKU (6) proven on rain-affected going and returns from a let-up. Latest efforts have been below par and has since been fitted with a slick 800m trial win at Kembla Grange. Can return to form quickly. CANAMBLE (4) gets down in the weights second up with the claim after gripping on late when fifth over 1000m at Dubbo. Up in class and worth more than a passing glance at the each-way odds.

RACE 6 - LOUISBURGH (1) benefited from the good break when returning with a slogging on pace second over 1100m at Wyong. Given time to get over the run and goes close as he gets out in trip. CITY GOLD FIELD (3) total forgive from the wide gate on debut when a plugging fifth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Expect to see him ridden with more intent now the blinkers have been added. Big improver. RAINBOW GODDESS (5) bred to get through the conditions and like the way she closed off when resuming with a tough second over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Comes to hand quickly and is ready to shed her maiden status. WHISPERING RUPERT (8) has fitness on his side fifth up and kept fresh for this after holding on late with the 57.5kg to secure fourth over this track and trip. Doesn't have to improve much to take a hand in the finish.

RACE 7 - GLORIOSO (3) looks ready to tick off the 1200m box after launching late with an eye-catching second over 1100m at Wyong. At her top for this and no excuses from the draw with Osmond's 2kg claim. TITANIUM MISS (2) last two runs have been excellent and adept in all conditions. Anchored with the 59kg when gripping on late to record a creditable second over 1200m at Kembla Grange in a tougher contest. Solid each-way player. ETCHED IN TIME (4) kept fresh after disappointing at all three runs back. Back in trip when a fading tenth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Since fitted with a searching 1030m trial win at Rosehill. Best form is good enough to take this out. ORYX (5) comes back a level after running a respectable fourth to Monte Kate over 1200m at this track in Midway grade. Drawn to stalk the speed and stays in the mix.

RACE 8 - HONEY PERFUME (2) brings the best form to this contest and is desperate for the 1200m now. Comes out of a strong rating race when taking good late ground off the smart Shropshire Lad with an unlucky second over 1100m at Scone. Expected to go on with the job now. DIVINE BENE (1) consistent gelding who always gives his all. Comes here in peak form and back to his home track after going out hard when a fighting second over 1200m at Quirindi in fast time. Will slide across from the wide gate and prove hard to get past. MOONLIGHT DREAM (3) resumes after shedding her maiden status with a fast finishing victory over 1200m at Beaumont (Newcastle) last December. Given the two good trials in readiness for this and will be attacking the line late. TONKATSU GODDESS (5) resumes after putting it all together late in the preparation last campaign. Can go on with the job this time in and has the two trials in readiness for her return. Each-way.
