RACE 1 - BELVEDERE ROCK (1) is on debut for the Barry Newnham stable on the back of some impressive trials coming into this. He started his career with Sue Olive but has spent a while on the sidelines and switched to the new barn. Edwards was on board for his trials and sticks today. Can make an immediate impact. FAVOURED SON (2) just missed at Narrogin two back before a 1.3L defeat at this track most recently. He's knocking on the door of his maiden win and he maps for a lovely run off the inside barrier. Well placed should be going close again. SHE'S SOME CRAIC (9) has been going around in stronger races than this recently, beaten a long way first-up at Pinjarra. Back in trip looks a good move and a host of gear changes can see some sharp improvement. KIMBERLEY CURRENCY (4) comes through a strong form race 25 days ago and has claims. ROSAY ALLDAY (10) won a recent trial and can feature in the finish.
RACE 2 - GRANDAD'S ADICTION (4) rises in trip again which looks to suit and gets the blinkers on for the first time today. He's been racing in strong maidens to begin his career and looks to have found a good race this time around. Can shed the maiden tag this time. COUSIN MORTIMER (3) got a long way back last start at Pinjarra but closed off well to be 2.6L off the winner last time out. This is an easier race and while he has had a few goes now, this looks to suit. Can put his best foot forward. SKY SURFER (10) is on debut for the Brock Lewthwaite stable on the back of a nice trial recently at Lark Hill. That latest trial 1450m so this looks to shape well for her debut. Can make an impression. PLAYING FOR TIME (11) was only 1.6L off the winner last start at this track and trip and has to be included. ALL FIRED UP (5) will appreciate this easier race and won't be far away.
RACE 3 - ELSA'S PRIDE (2) went back to 1000m last start and was just fair out in front, ending up 2.9L off the winner at Ascot. Her run at this track and trip two back rates highly and she should be right up front from the barrier. Can get back to winning ways on the 8-day turnaround. MAGNACHINE (1) was solid first-up at Ascot over 1000m and will find this much easier. She's placed 2/2 second-up and the slight rise in trip is no issue. The 4kg claim comes in handy, she'll be well-positioned in the run and she can play a major role. IF I DIN HAVADIME (3) disappointed on the 7-day back up down the Pinjarra straight following a solid run two back. A return to that form would see her around the mark. HORIZON (4) is next best with McNaught hopping in the saddle.
RACE 4 - EXPOROSE (8) has been very impressive her last couple, bolting in by 3.7L at this track and trip most recently after setting the tempo. This looks to shape well again with a nice draw and Watson remains in the saddle. Only rises 2.5kg for the win last start and can bring up the hat-trick. PRETTY DEVINE (1) scored impressively two back at this track before heading to Ascot last start and being outclassed. Webster's claim comes in handy and she too has the speed to be up front. Can play a major role coming back in grade. TEABISCUIT (5) just missed last start in a CL2 at Albany and looks to have found a suitable race again. Can put himself close to the speed and won't be far away. CHARLIE JANE (6) will be fitter for two trials coming into this and has claims.
RACE 5 - GOOD VIBES (1) won well at Narrogin two back before a 5.9L defeat most recently behind a dominant winner. The inside draw is a big tick, as is the 4kg claim of Webster. Comes into this on the fresh side and with the aid of the barrier, she can give them something to chase. LAND OF FIRE (9) was good at Narrogin two back before a 3.5L defeat at Pinjarra most recently down the straight course. Now rises back up in trip which is a big tick for his chances and he's sure to put his best foot forward. WORK HOME FRONT (4) was well beaten here last start but steps up in trip for just the second time. Her form prior was trending the right way and there's no reason she can't return to those figures. Expecting an improved effort this time. SNIP'S ROCK (2) was just 1L away most recently and can build on that performance. SABINO (8) bumped into a dominant winner last start. Good run in defeat though and he has to be included.
RACE 6 - PARISH PRINCE (6) was beaten 2L last start over 1800m at Ascot and finds a suitable race as he still looks to break his maiden. The barrier suits and the rise in trip doesn't look as though it's an issue. Can shed the maiden tag this time. NORMA STARS (8) turned in a good effort in Saturday grade last start when only 3.1L off the winner at Ascot. He's drawn nicely for Whiting and he jumped favourite last time he raced in this grade. Hasn't won for a long time but can make his presence felt. LAKEVIEW LIGHTNING (9) is another still looking for his maiden win and steps right out in trip now for the first time. Faithfull remains in the saddle though and a return to his prior form would see him in the finish. DELTA ANNE (7) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back in a more suitable race. WILLPOWER (1) is next best.
RACE 7 - SWINDLE THE DOUGH (5) was plain two back at Pinjarra, but that turned out to be a good form race as he smashed them at Albany last start by 1.3L. The form there has already worked out and he has the speed to cross from out wide. Can give a bold sight from the front once again. SIDE SHOW (2) will find this easier than last start when beaten 4L, but the rating he put up there stacks up in this field. The drop back in distance doesn't seem an issue and he can be well-positioned from the barrier. Can get back to winning ways. MYZOOM (8) led and won at this track and trip two back before a 1.3L defeat at Ascot last time out. That form rates highly for a race like this and she's still an improving type. Wouldn't surprise to see her go to the next level. HIGHLAND FLAIR (4) is better than he showed last start at Ascot and can bounce back. ANGEL'S MY NAME (10) is another who disappointed last start and is better than that. Can turn his form around.
