Returns with two good trials and expected to figure prominently. FEARED (1) is a two-year-old colt by I Am Invincible out of Rosina Kojonup on debut for the Anthony & Sam Freedman stable. Comes here with a sharp 1050m trial win. Blinkers go on and capable of taking this out. LIFE AFTER LOVE (6) resumes after making an encouraging debut from the wide gate with a fading fifth over 1000m at the Gold Coast last December. Returns with the one trial and the tongue tie goes on. Stays in the mix.

Has been given plenty of time to develop further and the two searching trial wins look to have him primed for this. ZOUCAT (3) is a nicely bred filly by Zoustar from the stakes-winner Snitty Kitty on debut for the Maher yard. Showed ability when a close up third in a recent 800m Kembla trial. Tongue-tie goes on and sure to play a leading role. THE WAY AHEAD (2) has a fitness edge over most of these after chipping away late on debut when third over this track and trip on April 1. Would have come on further since and the winkers get added. Respect. HE'S COOL (4) resumes from a lengthy break. Failed to fire in his first prep and the two recent trials suggest he's come back much stronger. Blinkers come off and expected to add value to the exotics.

CHIEF OF STAFF (3) well bred gelding who looks better placed out to this trip on the roomier Newcastle track. Strong through the line at his second race start when second over 1600m at Wyong. Blinkers added and sure to be thereabouts again.
