Never comfortable in the soft (7) going when covered ground to run sixth over 1400m at Warwick Farm in BM78 grade at latest. Fitted with a recent 1200m Randwick trial and the tongue-tie goes on. Respect. NORTHERN EYES (1) consistent gelding who looks placed to advantage in this easier contest. Set to peak fourth up after gripping on to run fourth over 1350m at Wyong in the Prov Wildcard. Claim helps and sure to be thereabouts. MAILATA (16) improving gelding who stretches out to this trip for the first time. Strong through the line along the inside when fourth over 1200m at Gosford in the Prov Champs on March 15. Since won an 804m trial. Maps well and capable of taking this out. TENDERIZE (3) won three of his last four starts and jumps in trip and weight from the sticky gate. Place claims best. PRINCE OF SORTS (4) good on pace gelding going nicely through his grades. Expected to give plenty of cheek.
RACE 2 - Tricky Highway. SALUTE AGAIN (11) sound return with the big weight when gripping on late to secure third over 1200m at Wagga. Goes just as well second up and has raced well in this class in the past. Top chance from the draw. WIN THE DAY (9) improving mare chasing her third straight win. Ploughed through the heavy (9) going when a slick 4 len winner over 1410m at the Sapphire Coast. In peak form and deserves her chance. MCKEON (7) got the gun run from the draw but failed to finish off when tenth over 1400m at this track in the Country Championship. Big drop in grade and McEvoy sticks. Each way. A POUND OF SALT (10) improving gelding who returns from a 36-day let-up. Had the race won a long way out as fav when a 1.5 len winner over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Raced well in this grade in the past and will need luck early from the draw. BALLINDERRY SAL (17) handy mare returning from a29 day let-up. Drops in weight after scoring a solid win in easier company at Scone. Keep safe.
RACE 3 - SWIFTFALCON (1) no excuses out to the 2000m fifth up. Gave away a big start approaching the turn and chased hard when a plugging second to Evaporate over 1600m in the G3 Carbine Club Stakes at this track. Assess on his smart third to Broadsiding in the Rosehill Guineas. FIRM AGREEMENT (2) racing in a rich vein of form after finishing runner up to Aeliana over 2400m in the G1 ATC Australian Derby at this track. Gets an economical run from the gate and the booking of Rawiller will help his cause. Goes close. PLYMOUTH (3) took up the early lead and found wanting in the straight when sixth in the G1 ATC Australian Derby. Much better than that and capable of bouncing back. SHANGRI LA SPRING (4) just under a month between runs when fading quickly to run fourth over 1600m in the G3 Carbine at this track. Clark sticks and capable of taking a hand in the finish. SIGIRIYA ROCK (6) proven at this trip and strips fitter third up. Maps well and capable of improving.
RACE 4 - ZEITUNG (2) raced without luck at both runs this prep and gets out to her right trip now. Surged late from the wide draw before being held up inside the final 200m when fifth over 1200m in the G3 PJ Bell Stakes at this track. Nice winner of the G3 Vanity in the Spring and looks hard to hold out. LILAC (4) set a fast tempo before being collared late with a narrow neck third over 1200m in the G3 PJ Bell Stakes. No excuses with J Mac aboard from the draw. CLEAN ENERGY (1) comes here in peak condition after having excuses from the awkward gate when a tough fourth over 1200m in the G3 PJ Bell Stakes. Maps well and gets her chance to run out the 1400m. Sure to be thereabouts. MORE TERRITORIES (5) back in trip and was warming up late when sixth over 1200m here at latest. Assess on her good victory over this track and trip first up. Value chance. SNOW IN MAY (3) far from disgraced when fifth over 1500m in the G2 Emancipation at Rosehill in the heavy going. Keep safe back to her own age group.
RACE 5 - GETAFIX (15) underrated gelding capable of going on with it this prep. Chased hard with the 59.5kg when a narrow third over 1300m here last December. Impressed in both trials and will take stopping on the limit. IRON MAN (11) aptly named gelding resuming. Raced with distinction last time in and his two searching trials suggest he's primed for a first up victory. Visors go on and the tempo suits. SHARP SHOCK (14) eye catching return from near last on the turn when a gritty second over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Comes to hand quickly and stays in the mix with the big weight drop. BALLROOM BELLA (5) well backed on resumption when getting the job done in easier company over 1150m at Randwick Kensington. Tougher today from the draw and place prospects look best. CELUI (3) proven at Group level and stamped his class when a fast finishing winner over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Stays in the mix. The chances don't end there.
RACE 6 - NEW ENDEAVOUR (6) progressing well this time in. Showed plenty of heart in the soft (7) going when a game second in the G3 Doncaster Prelude over 1500m at Rosehill. Placed twice at this trip and maps well. KLONDIKE (4) former William Haggas-trained gelding having his first Australian start. Has impressed in both trials and looks to have plenty of upside. Gelded over the break and the lugging bit goes on. Leading player. PALMETTO (5) comes here in peak condition and will relish the firmer conditions. Not that far away when fifth over 2000m in the G2 Neville Sellwood Stakes at Rosehill. Visors go on and will stalk the solid tempo. BOIS D'ARGENT (2) further improved now after working hard from the sticky gate when a close up sixth in the G2 Neville Sellwood. Should take control early and give plenty of cheek. SCARLET OAK (12) and FLYING BANDIT (14) stay in the calculations.
RACE 7 - NEPOTISM (2) got off the mark at start two when a dominant winner over 1400m in the G3 The TL Baillieu Handicap at Rosehill. Will have little trouble running the mile and gets the right set up. BUFFALO (3) improving gelding desperate for the 1600m. Returned good closing splits when an eye-catching third over 1400m in the G1 ATC Sires' Produce Stakes at this track. Solid top three prospect. STATE VISIT (1) gets to the mile for the first time after closing off strongly at his last two outings. Loomed late when a narrow second in the G1 Sires Produce Stakes. Will drift back from the draw and be saved for one crack at them. Respect. WITHIN THE LAW (7) gritty filly who jumps sharply in trip after running a solid third over 1200m in the G2 Percy Sykes Stakes at this track last Saturday. Hard to dismiss. TUPAKARA (10) gave weight to her rivals when pulling out plenty to run second over 1600m at this track in the LR Fernhill last Saturday. Maps well again and represents great each way value.
RACE 8 - BRIASA (2) went to a new level when scoring a hard fought nose victory over 1200m in the G1 TJ Smith Stakes at this track. Should have little trouble getting the trip and has further upside in store. Gets his chance from the gate. BROADSIDING (14) dynamic colt proven at the trip and kept fresh for this. Pulled out plenty when winning the G1 Rosehill Guineas over 2000m on March 22. Fitted with a 1200m tick over trial and no shock to see him finish over the top of these. JOLIESTAR (10) just under a month between runs when a plugging ninth over 1200m in the G1 TJ Smith Stakes at this track. Assess on her strong Newmarket win two back. MAGIC TIME (9) won this race last year and appears to be going just as well. Knocked up late when sixth over 1200m at this track in the G1 TJ Smith Stakes. Looking for this trip and sure to be thereabouts again. SUNSHINE IN PARIS (7) ticking along nicely but she can't draw a decent gate. Sure to be strong late.
RACE 9 - DRAGONSTONE (12) closed off strongly with the 57kg when a most improved second over 1200m at Rosehill in the G3 Star Kingdom. Gets a similar set up here with the solid tempo and capable of going one better. JEDIBEEL (1) underrated sprinter who will find this more to his liking. Covered ground from the sticky gate when a gritty tenth over 1200m in the G1 T J Smith at this track. Poorly drawn again but capable of lifting in this field. OSTRAKA (7) racing well and saves his best for this track and trip. Returned good figures last start and has the speed to get cover from the draw. Stays in the mix. MAZU (5) drops in weight and capable of taking this out from the good gate after finishing a close fifth over 1200m at Rosehill in the G3 Star Kingdom. Gets his chance. GENERAL SALUTE (9) jumps 5kg in weight after scoring a gritty nose victory in the G3 Star Kingdom Stakes at Rosehill. Will drift back from the draw and give a few of these a big start. Place best.
RACE 10 - COOL JAKEY (16) comes here in peak condition with the nice weight drop. Pinched a break on straightening before being nailed on the line when a narrow second over 1400m at Rosehill in BM88 class. Capable of getting the job done in this stronger contest. TAVI TIME (5) resumes with sound first up figures. Both trials suggest he's come back much stronger and will relish the fast tempo. Hard to hold out. GREEN FLY (12) scored a surprise victory first up with the 59kg over Cool Jakey. Goes even better second up and he looms as a significant threat again. I'MINTOWIN (10) resumes with good fresh stats. Has a handy win record and went quickly through his grades last prep. Given the two searching trials and will be in this for a long way. SANDPAPER (4) never in the contest when a plugging fifth over 1500m in the G3 Doncaster Prelude at Rosehill. Drop in trip and the firmer surface will help his cause. The chances don't end there.
