RACE 1 - With so many question marks over the first starters SCRUMPTIOUS (1) looks the safe option. Has been beaten under a length at both appearances this prep, the latest over 1100m at the Kensington track. Cherry-ripe and shouldn't mind the extra 100m. PERLE DE CHOCOLAT (7) went to the front in a new role last start and battled on okay for a close third. Might be hard to beat if this is run at a modest tempo as anticipated. COLD GIN (4) for the Bjorn Baker yard is the pick of the newcomers based on a solid second in a recent Rosehill trial. Godolphin debutante SKETCH (8) was third in the same trial as Cold Gin at Rosehill. Half-brother Daumier won the Blue Diamond so it won't surprise if she can gallop. MISS FREELOVE (6) for Peter Snowden has been trialling well and looks ready to make an impact on debut.

RACE 2 - HIDDEN MOTIVE (1) has not been produced since finishing less than two lengths away in the Breeders' Plate over 1000m at Randwick in October. Trialling in tremendous style and looks set for a winning return in this far easier contest. PHILATELIC (9) met with little support and failed to fire on debut over 1100m at Randwick in December. Not seen since then barring a couple of quiet trials. Might surprise this time in work. Debutant EXPLICIT (5) is a Snitzel half-brother to former crack juvenile King's Legacy. Went okay in a recent Rosehill trial. Big market watch. Ole Kirk first starter AERODROME (2) won a trial here on 7 April and looks a ready to run type. Newcomer OUTER BANKS (8) has won recent trails over Vinrock and West Of Swindon. Clearly has plenty of ability.

RACE 3 - DWAYNE (1) progressed nicely last start when lining up for the second time, leading for home then boxing on well to be beaten under a length over this distance at Gosford. Doesn't meet any better types today. McDonald going on adds to the confidence. JASON DARREN (4) made it five minor placings in a row when a respectable third over 1500m at Hawkesbury eleven days ago. Holding his form well and should be competitive against this lot. SON OF RUBICK (3) started favourite but again filled a minor placing at his latest appearance over 1400m at Goulburn. Will race handy and give backers a sight. Recent trial winner FIRST THOUGHT (2) from the Ciaron Maher stable debuts. Son of So You Think who should handle this trip and can definitely play a role in the outcome. SACRO CATINO (9) is best of the others first-up from a spell.

RACE 4 - Tricky race with the small field engaged. BACIO DEL MIST (3) won a BM72 over 2100m here three back but has been outclassed in the subsequent appearances in stakes races. Very fit mare who is back in her right race and can improve sharply. Waller brings Irish import SOUL OF SPAIN (4) to Sydney after a couple of runs in Victoria this prep, the latest a real eye-catcher over 2000m at Ballarat where he flew home for third. Won over 3300m in Ireland so this longer journey third-up looks perfect. BE REAL (2) got a long way back and was never a realistic chance behind Casual Connection in a similar race here a fortnight ago. Fitter now and the small field suits. CASUAL CONNECTION (1) loves Warwick Farm, adding to his good record here last time. In the mix again. DECADENT TALE (5) chased Casual Connection home here last time. Gets a weight swing today and should be competitive.

RACE 5 - METALLIC RULER (10) stalked the leader then let down too well last start in a BM64 over this distance at Wyong, making it three wins from four attempts at the trip. Stiffer test today but strips fitter and can go to the next level. The speedy LYLES (11) was facing the starter for only the third time when a dominant all-the-way winner over this distance at Kembla five weeks ago. Subsequent Rosehill trial winner. Up in grade but has a stack of room for improvement. UK import CONTALDO (6) is making his Australian debut off an eight-month spell. Best form has been over the mile. Tricky one to line up so let the betting tell the story. TRUE TO FORM (3) is back from a 191-day break. Has won at both first-up attempts, albeit in easier races than this. Trialled well recently and should be competitive. CLEAR PROOF (4) failed in Autumn Glow's Darby Munro when resuming last start. Can improve sharply back in this grade.

RACE 6 - TRAFALGAR SQUARE (14) returns from a three-month break. Went around in several races similar to this last prep and was generally competitive, including a second here at this trip. Trialled well at Rosehill recently so in a tough race she looks a decent each-way option. HELLBENT ON YOU (5) won first-up at Hawkesbury then came from last to just miss in a driving finish over 1150m at the Kensington track last time. In-form mare who can improve further at this stage of the prep. CANDLEWICK (6) is back from a 131-day spell. Only raced three times in the maiden prep and progressed impressively. Two recent trials should have her ready to run well. TEHINA (10) failed over 1400m here a fortnight ago but is far better suited at today's trip so give her another chance. LOVE AND LIGHT (16) was impressive first-up and should give them something to catch.

RACE 7 - SNACK BAR (4) returns from a six-month absence. Opened last prep with a 2.8 length third to the unbeaten filly Autumn Glow in the Group 3 Up And Coming over 1300m at Rosehill. Bar set far lower to launch this campaign. Big chance on that form from last prep. KING OF ROSEAU (3) has been gelded and returns from a three-month break. Didn't come up last prep, but to be fair he contested hotter races than this. Twice stakes placed and could roll this field without surprising. ONE DESTINY (6) hasn't won for a while but her last three runs over 1100m have produced strong figures. Should be at a decent price and is an attractive exotics option. Enigmatic mare DRIFT NET (8) is back from a 111-day spell. Amassed five minor placings from as many runs last prep, starting at no longer than $3.80 on each occasion. Scratched from an earlier race to be kept for this. In the money thirteen of fifteen so must be respected. DEPRIVATION (1) resumes. Has won four from six when fresh so must be respected.

RACE 8 - MORRYL MORAL (9) chimed in late but a little check at the 100m proved costly when resuming last start over 1550m at the Kensington track. Good second-up performer who is back in great order and looks tough to beat in an open affair. POPPIN' CHAMPAGNE (12) worked home well but just missed the placings when fresh from a five-month break over 1400m at this track a fortnight ago. Better placed out to the mile and her second-up form reads well. Likely improver. IT'S A KNOCKOUT (6) failed at 1900m last start in a forgive run. Beaten under a length in the Group 3 Aspiration over the Randwick mile to start before - that is outstanding form for a midweek BM78. PEACE OFFICER (3) is fitter for three runs back from a spell. Awkward gate but should be competitive if luck goes his way. MOUNTAIN TOP (14) hit form over the mile here last start when third-up. Ready to peak and McDonald goes on so plenty to like about her chances.
