RACE 1 - EDITING (2) just ran into one better at Canterbury when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Should find this assignment a touch easier and rates the testing material against this lot. FAST FUN (3) went down by the narrowest of margins on debut and hoop Beriman sticks in the irons. Looms as the main danger. BARBIELAND (1) has placed in both starts to date while being heavily supported on both occasions. Where there's smoke there's fire and looks a genuine top-three candidate. FREEDOM TO ROAM (4) hails from a handy family (half to G1 winner Converge) and must be respected from the Gollan yard.

RACE 2 - CERONS (4) resumes here but has been plying his trade in harder races down south and will appreciate the drop back in grade in this. Tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. SPELLHOUND (12) has been thereabouts in both career outings and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. Doesn't need to improve much to be playing a role in the outcome. ABENDER (1) has been well found in both starts so far and gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination. In the mix. SHAQUE D'AMOUR (11) has placed at his past three outings and looks to be knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Keep safe. RUINS OF ROME (10) strips fitter second-up and may earn some minor money.

RACE 3 - Tricky race to assess with many of these at the races for the first time. Of the raced brigade HEADSTRONG (6) looked to have ability when placing here on debut and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be featuring in the finish. COOL ARCHIE (4) is first-up here but did place at Group 3 level when last in work and has revved up for this with a recent trial placing. Keep very safe. BETTER GO TORQUE (1) placed at the Sunny Coast on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Can return in winning order. FIND ME (5) just missed the placings here when in the betting and will be better for that hit-out. Can trouble the judge. ISTI STAR (13) rounds out the selections.

RACE 4 - LANTAU ISLAND (4) was a touch plain last time out but go on the solid Eagle Farm victory two back when breaking the maiden status. Gets the services of Maloney in the irons from the low draw and a bounce back to form would not shock. ALPHA BRAVO (3) has placed two from two around this circuit, draws low and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Can run a race while fresh. BRAVELY (2) resumes here but has been given two trial hit-outs in preparation for this and has won when first-up before. In the mix. SARATOGA POWER (5) strips fitter second-up from the break and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Top-three hope. MACONDA (11) best of the rest in a race with plenty of chances.

RACE 5 - A wide open affair. LIBERTY PARK (11) put them to the sword over this track and trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Winning hoop Wilson-Taylor stays on top and looks one of the gallopers in this field with the most upside. Looks very hard to toss. KIRIKAN (14) doesn't win out of turn but has hit the top-five in nine of his past ten starts and is usually thereabouts. Can make his presence felt. CHILLAXING (12) got the maiden out of the way last time and the extra furlong here should suit. Top-three conveyance. HECTOR DE MARIS (1) has won two from four around this circuit and will strip fitter third-up from the spell. May earn some minor money. SIGN OF PEACE (9) best of the rest.

RACE 6 - CHO OYU (1) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but the two runs prior to commence the career were good enough to feature in a race like this. Can bounce right back into the winners' stall. LIVALITTLE (4) looked handy winning at the Sunny Coast on debut and will have come on with that win now in the locker. Can go back-to-back. SANCTUARY STORM (6) wasn't disgraced in harder company before the spell and has since been given time to mature. Keep very safe. LET'SGO HUGO (5) is drawn to get a soft run in transit from the inside alley and may run a race while fresh. SUPERZOOM (2) will be rock-hard fit for this and looks one for the multiples.

RACE 7 - KETTLEBELL (10) absolutely demolished them by over four lengths last time out at the Sunny Coast in a confidence building maiden victory. Gets in well at the weights and can go back-to-back without surprising. Former Waterhouse/Bott galloper SOUTHERN CHARM (9) has been plying her trade in harder NSW contests and will appreciate the drop back in grade here. Keep very safe. The well-related GLOWLIGHT (4) (half to G3 winner and G1 placed General Beau) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and is one for the exotics players. CAXTON LASS (7) has placed three of five around this circuit and may earn some minor money. LEGER CHASE (2) best of the rest while fresh.

RACE 8 - LA COMETA (6) returned in fine fashion with a close-up second at the Sunny Coast and will be better with that run now under the belt. Has placed two from two over this distance range and should be hitting the line with gusto. The lightly-raced AUTUMNGIRL (8) resumes here but has tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Likely to play a role in the finish while fresh. MOSCOW CIRCUS (7) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that victory. Can go right on with the job now. READY TO SCHIPP (9) will be at peak fitness now and can trouble the judge with any luck in running. SUN WORSHIPPER (2) showed plenty of ability when last in work and cannot be discounted.

RACE 9 - Open contest to close out the card. The well-related WARBY (9) (half to G1 winner and stallion Captivant) returned to the winners' stall last time out and is yet to miss a drum in four attempts over this course and distance. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and finds the right race to make it two on the bounce. DEVASTATE (11) saves his best form for this journey and has been right there in recent efforts without winning. Can get a well-deserved victory. CIFRADO (1) didn't handle the Heavy 10 when resuming but is much better than that and has a class edge over most of these. Can bounce right back. SET TO SHINE (12) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the exotics players. SPACE TRACKER (10) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be ignored.
