RACE 1 - DEEP DISCRETION (5) drops back in trip after a 3.6L defeat at this track most recently. She got a long way back there and while she was strong to the line, the winner was off and gone. Suspect she can sit a little closer today and if she can do that she'll be right in the finish. BIG BOPPER (2) tired after leading first-up over 1200m at this track. The drop in trip may suit and the winkers go on first time today. Drawn out, but has the speed to cross and lead and can give a brave sight. HYPERREAL (1) is better than he's shown his past couple and can make his presence felt. DIVERSE (6) comes into this off a 94-day break without a trial. Maps well though and won't be far away.

RACE 2 - EXTRA ZERO (3) resumed in good order over 1200m here when beaten 4.1L. While he rises up in trip sharply, it should suit and the fact he was able to keep up over 1200m fresh is a very good sign. Blinkers go back on now and he can get the job done this time. BLATANT DISARRAY (7) has had a few tries now but turned in a strong effort over 1400m at this track last week. Cheung hops in the saddle now and the 3kg claim comes in handy. Maps for a lovely run and can make his presence felt. IL BELLO BEALS (2) can roll forward from the wide draw as he did last start and take up the running. He's only tried the mile once and he gets the winkers back on today. Can prove tough to run down. WASN'T ME (1) never really got into the race first-up at Ascot but is better suited here. Can play a leading role. BEST RESULT (8) is next best.

RACE 3 - MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (4) has been right around the mark lately without winning, just missing out in a stronger race here 36 days ago. She sat on the speed there and it took a good one to beat her. That form is strong for this race and Galati hops back in the saddle. Can return to winning ways. MOMBASA (1) bolted in here two back before dropping in trip and winding up late over 1400m last week. Rising back up to the mile is a big tick for his chances and the map is favourable for him. He appears the main danger. ALTERNO (3) has been around the mark his past few and looks to be knocking on the door of another victory. He was 30-1 last time out, but he put up some strong figures there and a repeat will see him go close. FINANCE LEGEND (5) is better than he's shown his past couple and he can improve getting back out to the mile now.

RACE 4 - COLLECTIVE (1) is hard to knock on recent form, winning last start over this track and trip by 1.8L. That effort rates highly in this field and he maps for a lovely run from a better gate this time around. Can repeat the dose. BE SEATED (3) got a long way back last start over 1200m and will be suited by the rise in trip this time. The inside draw is also a big tick for him and he should sit much closer this time. Can bounce back to his best and put his best foot forward. SPECIAL PLAN (7) drops back in trip today after a disappointing run at the mile most recently. The form out of that race has been good though and he boasts a strong third-up record. Can improve now and put his best foot forward. IMA WILD GIRL (2) will be better suited here and won't be far away.

RACE 5 - QUEEN OF HAWKS (8) scratched from a winnable race at Narrogin on Thursday to line up here. She was very good first-up and lost no admirers last start at Ascot over 1100m. She's a lightly-raced filly with upside and she maps beautifully. She looks the one to beat. LOST GRAVITY (1) was solid at Pinjarra first-up and will find this easier than what he's been racing in. He's likely to be back from the draw, but the 3kg claim comes in handy and he can be there at the finish. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (2) comes here off a 76-day break and has switched stables in that time. He hasn't been sighted since that latest effort, but he draws to get every chance and he'll go close if he can hold his form. THE SLAP (5) gets the blinkers on first time today after a 7L defeat most recently as favourite. Can bounce back. IRONCLAD BOY (4) is better than he's shown his past couple and is not to be discounted.

RACE 6 - GOLDEN FIGHTER (4) boasts a good record at this track and trip and comes into this with some good metropolitan form. He looks well placed in this event and ZJP should get every chance from a good barrier. Been a while between wins but this looks his for the taking. ZING TO WIN (2) should be getting to his peak now third-up into the campaign and will find this easier than recent assignments. He has a good record at this trip and the better barrier should suit. Can bounce back to form third-up. GOLD KEEPER (7) is hard to knock on recent form, just finding one better in his past couple of efforts. He remains right down in the weights though and is likely to play a major role. MYSTIC LOVE (8) is ticking along well without winning and has to be included. SAFE HUSTLE (9) is next best off the inside barrier.

RACE 7 - Time for the Mingenew Cup now and BLAZING TYCOON (3) finds a very suitable race today. He's been racing in stronger company than this and comes through a strong form race at Belmont last time out. He's likely to get back in the run but his figures stack up and he can turn his form around. BAYHARA (7) was no match in the Cup here last week when beaten 11 lengths, though his form at this level prior was very good. Winkers go back on now and he's expected to return to his best form. BUTTERFLYROCK (2) beat home Bayhara in the Geraldton Cup, but had been bridesmaid to him in the two runs prior. She meets him worse at the weights today, but ZJP's claim comes in handy and she's 2/2 at the track and trip. Has to be considered. BOMBAY STYLE (1) can make his own luck up on the speed and will take catching if he runs up to recent figures. SPANISH KAT (11) has a good figure attached from his recent efforts and he's not to be discounted.

RACE 8 - GAV HAS SPOKEN (10) is a nicely placed here following a sound effort at Pinjarra last time out. She was slowly away there, but she'll be much closer in the run with a good break this time. She was a winner at this track an debut and she can return to winning ways in this suitable assignment. BLACK SANDS (2) drops back in trip following a disappointing effort over the mile here last week. His run here two back was very good and a return to that level should see him right in the finish. WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (6) was good fresh and can build on that performance. I'M ON (4) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to winning form without surprising.
