RACE 1 - The babies get us started. GET READY LASS (2) just missed the placings at the Gold Coast on debut before absolutely putting them to the sword there by over five lengths last time out. Will have derived a stack of confidence from that dominant victory and looks the one they all have to run down. DRAGONNE ROUGE (6) got the maiden out of the way when facing the starter for the first time and is drawn perfectly in gate two. Looms as the main danger. MILESTONE (8) returned in good order with a strong Sunny Coast win and Brooker sticks in the irons. Top-three aspirations. CUDDLES FOR KIMMY (1) will be at peak fitness now fourth-up and may earn some minor money. GEITZ (7) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances.

RACE 2 - Competitive contest for the stayers. The lighty-raced SO YOU ARE (11) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and three placings from five starts to date and brings NSW formlines to the table. Looks the runner in this field with the most upside and rates the testing material against this lot. SCARLET PRINCE (7) has hit a purple patch of form with two wins and two runner-up finishes from his past four outings and is racing in great heart. Draws the inside alley and can make his presence felt. YET HE MOVES (3) gets the reliable Waller/Maloney combination and is better than recent efforts suggest. Top-three hope on best form. ARIZONA DREAMING (4) has only missed a drum once in seven attempts at the trip and cannot be underestimated. ROLLER COASTER (6) next in line in an open affair.

RACE 3 - SHE'S GOT VEUVE (15) has a handy record over this mile journey with three wins and two placings from seven attempts and has been racing very consistently in recent efforts. Gets in well at the weights and it's hard to knock mares in form. Can go very close. CARPACCIO (12) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and is a must for the multiples. JUMEIRAH BEACH (10) will be rock hard fit for this and cannot be discounted. THE RIGHT WAY (1) has been thereabouts in his two runs back and should be nearing a peak effort. Gets help at the weights with the 1.5kg claimer going on. Don't take lightly.

RACE 4 - APUNTAR (1) just ran into one better here at the latest effort and looks ready for the step-up to the mile journey now. Collis sticks following that last-start outing and again gets the benefit of his 2kg claim. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. MR BUBBALUSKI (3) has placed four from four around this circuit and has only missed a drum once in seven career starts. Must be included in calculations. PRINCE LEVI (4) has a win and a second from two attempts over this course and distance and a return to form would not surprise. RAMP IT UP (6) got the job done over this track and trip last time out and only needs some luck from the wide draw to feature in the finish again. POSTER GIRL (2) strips fitter third-up from a lengthy spell and may earn a cheque.

RACE 5 - DEMON DARB (8) goes well for hoop Wheeler who has a win and two placings from just three steers and will be high on confidence following that dominant last-start victory over this track and trip. Back in form now and is certainly worth following up. FREE CARRY (4) was a touch flat last time out but go on the two solid wins to start the campaign. Respect the Gollan/Lang combination. Former NSW galloper SMART LEGEND (7) looked good saluting in his first local outing and Guthmann-Chester stays on top. Top-three commodity. HATCHET (1) is a five-time winner here, draws the inside marble and gets 3kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. CADETSHIP (2) best of the rest from the Waller yard.

RACE 6 - ACTION KING (1) has been racing in a rich vein of form this campaign with two wins and two seconds from just four outings. Another to get some weight relief and rates among the leading chances. SICILIAN (16) strips fitter second-up from the break and gets the deadly Gollan/Jones combination. Top-three contender. LADY LUCIFER (15) has gone bang bang to start the preparation and it's hard to ignore winning form. Cannot be discounted. DEVASTATING (2) warmed nicely to his task late when resuming at Eagle Farm. Will appreciate the added trip and is expected to be putting in the big strides late again.

RACE 7 - LA COMETA (6) returned in fine fashion with a close-up second at the Sunny Coast and will be better with that run now under the belt. Has placed two from two over this distance range and should be hitting the line with gusto. The lightly-raced AUTUMNGIRL (8) resumes here but has tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Likely to play a role in the finish while fresh. MOSCOW CIRCUS (7) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that victory. Can go right on with the job now. READY TO SCHIPP (9) will be at peak fitness now and can trouble the judge with any luck in running. SUN WORSHIPPER (2) showed plenty of ability when last in work and cannot be discounted.

RACE 8 - THANKYOU HENRY (5) has been knocking on the door of another victory with consecutive runner-up finishes and strikes a winnable contest here. Has placed three from four around this circuit, draws low and gets 1.5kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. READY FOR ANYTHING (2) is a two-time winner over this course and distance and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble. Looms as a serious threat. EL PENSADOR (9) resumes here but has tuned up for this with two solid trials and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. TRAPEDO (14) saves her best form for this distance range and carries a postage stamp on her back. In the mix. SCUD (7) best of the rest.

RACE 9 - Open contest to close out the card. The well-related WARBY (9) (half to G1 winner and stallion Captivant) returned to the winners' stall last time out and is yet to miss a drum in four attempts over this course and distance. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and finds the right race to make it two on the bounce. DEVASTATE (11) saves his best form for this journey and has been right there in recent efforts without winning. Can get a well-deserved victory. CIFRADO (1) didn't handle the Heavy 10 when resuming but is much better than that and has a class edge over most of these. Can bounce right back. SET TO SHINE (12) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the exotics players.
