RACE 1 - I'VE BEEN DREAMING (5) has been unlucky not to have broken through and has been freshened. She stays down in the weights again and is well-placed to break through. MISTER MANIHI (2) has the rail and is likely to control the race. Went close at Hobart first up and pulled up with an issue last time. Has been kept on the fresh side and can bounce back. MYLASTONE (9) debuts and has trialled sharply. Has an awkward gate but should be good enough to manage. SEDITIOUS AWARD (11) debuts and has jumped out in Victoria before the switch from the Laurie yard. Has an awkward gate, but it wouldn't surprise if she went well.

RACE 2 - Competitive. FILLENTINA (10) is a leader who has impressed both her starts since she put three together on King Island. Raced favourite here last time and deserves another chance. LA VIRAGO (7) missed a whisker in the same contest. Peaks now and should get every chance to go one better. GOLDEN SWEET HEART (4) deserved the Maiden win here, and it was a big effort from a wide barrier. Draws inside today and has been freshened. She will keep improving. CAUGHT ALIGHT (5) and SMIFFY (8) are also last start Maiden winners with plenty of scope for improvement.

RACE 3 - GLOBAL AWARENESS (3) was close up here three times before being outgraded in the Group 3 Vamos Stakes. Lifted her figures again and is well placed to break back. SH'BOURNE MIDNIGHT (1) brings two near misses and comes back a level. Maps well and has been briefly freshened up. A talented apprentice rides, and he's also a winning hope. LORDOSIS (2) is third up and ready to fire. He has the rail and has been kept fresh. SPEED ROCK (6) missed a nose at Launceston last time, and that stacks right up. The longer sprint won't bother.

RACE 4 - AL MAXIMUS (1) improved winning a 61 on the synthetic and then stepped up to this trip and went close here in this grade. Keeps the small claim and will enjoy a soft run. He can bounce back. Stablemate FLORENCE GLASS (7) came back to the mile off Stakes grade and delivered her Maiden win. Tackles a middle distance again but is fit and may have turned the corner. RUMOUR LANE (10) peaks and missed a whisker in the Al Maximus race. Is running out of chances, but given that effort is worth another. TOSEN FAME (5) has a 3kg claim and is likely to appreciate the step up in distance.

RACE 5 - WEDNESDAY'S BOSS (5) resumed further improved winning a CL1 at the track. That's good form for this and she will strip fitter. She'd trialled sharply into that and, with average luck, can win again. AMANT FRANCAIS (6) led and won a Maiden here comfortably and has plenty of upside. A top apprentice rides today and the filly will give a big sight. PERIWINKLE (4) resumes in easier with a 3kg claim. She will push forward and would be a hope if presented on song. INTISAR (3) has been racing in better company and won't be far away.

RACE 6 - STONE COLD STUNNER (2) has raced well at Group level and led and just missed here last time stepping up to this trip. Has a handy 3kg claim and is ready to win. CARNEROS (1) was straight back into the winner's circle, winning comfortably in this grade at Launceston. Maps for a soft run and has a 1.5kg claim for an in-form apprentice. GINGERSON (5) seeks the hat trick off a nice win here in a 60. Carries just 53kg with the claim, and is a chance to go on. HAPPY CLAN (3) has been freshened and comes back in distance. He's going well enough to consider.

RACE 7 - STARDARMUS (2) keeps threatening and is back a level today. Has the rail, and a x2 winning rider is reunited. Connections will be hoping today is the day. GOLDEN MEADOW (3) was plain here last time but her form prior more than stacks up. Pires replaces the 3kg apprentice and she's a live chance. ARAYA SUNSHINE (4) is going well and can get into the placings. BELLASARIO (5) would have to find plenty to be winning.
