Tough effort under the circumstances from the outside draw when twelfth over 1200m in the G1 Golden Slipper. Can stalk the speed today and return to winning form. STRADA VARENNA (9) up sharply in class at her second start when a fading fourth over 1200m in the G3 Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill. Will go forward again and give a ton of cheek. ALABAMA MAGIC (10) holding her form in this company and capable of taking a hand in the finish. BESKAR (6) resumes after scoring a good debut win over 1121m at Geelong last December. Fitted with a jump out and Randwick trial. Must be kept safe.

RACE 2 - POLYMNIA (9) exciting filly who comes here hard fit and in peak form. Smashed her rivals when shedding her maiden status in great style over 1800m at Hawkesbury. Will be even stronger over the 2000m and Zac Lloyd sticks. YOU WAHNG (5) nice filly who jumped sharply in class and trip when surging late to run an unlucky seventh over 1600m in the G3 Kembla Grange Classic. Peaking at the right time with the blinkers going on. Gets her chance with Williams aboard. DOMINETTA (1) came out fast from the wide draw and showed plenty of grit on the line when a narrow fourth over 1600m in the G3 Kembla Grange Classic. Gives weight to most of these from the wide gate and will need everything to go right. CANNY QUEEN (3) close enough in the run but no match late when fifth over 2000m in the G1 Vinery at Rosehill on Tuesday. Value prospect screwed right down for this. EXCLUSIVE ARTIST (14) returned good figures in average company at Gosford over the mile. Keeps improving and deserves her chance here.

RACE 3 - ALALCANCE (3) tenacious on pace mare chasing her third straight victory. Keeps raising the bar after crushing her rivals when leading throughout for a smart win over 2400m in the G3 NE Manion Cup at Rosehill. Clark sticks and she will get map favours again from the gate. Will prove hard to run down. WALTHAM (7) well placed at latest when rounding them up with ridiculous ease to score a soft win over 2400m at the Gold Coast last time out. Ran a narrow third in the St Leger here last year and peaking at the right time. BIRDMAN (12) fourth up for this and has started hard in the market at all three runs this prep. Blinkers go on and he will relish this trip and further. ATHABASCAN (2) tough gelding on song for the Sydney Cup. Won the St Leger last year and is progressing nicely. STRATHTAY (11) turned in a slashing Sydney Cup trial when returning good closing splits to run third over 2400m in the G3 N E Manion Cup at Rosehill. Conditions suit.

RACE 4 - SWIFTFALCON (2) classy gelding who looks well placed back to the mile in this easier contest. No Broadsiding or Linebacker today and should prove too sharp for these from an outside gate. EVAPORATE (1) tough gelding due for a change of luck this prep. Went across to NZ at his third run back when a fighting second to Damask Rose as fav over 1500m in the LR The Kiwi at Ellerslie. Kept up the mark with a 1050m trial win here and shapes as the main danger. BRIGIDINE GAL (8) tough filly who looks the value play in the race after looming strongly when third in the G3 Epona over 1900m at Rosehill. Blinkers go on and not to be underestimated. SHANGRI LA SPRING (5) showed a ton of grit first up from a wide draw when holding on gamely to run third over 1400m in the LR Canberra Guineas. Will go forward and place prospects look best. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (3) outclassed when fifth in the G1 Randwick Guineas over this trip last time out. Since fitted with a 1000m tick over trial. One for the exotics.

RACE 5 - KNOW THYSELF (7) emerging gelding destined for bigger things. Had the race won a long way out as fav in the heavy (10) going when a slick winner of the Nth Wild Card over 1400m at Scone. Gets the right tempo from the draw and can keep the winning momentum going. GALLANT STAR (1) tough Dubbo gelding who brings excellent figures here second up. Started a long odds-on fav when a dominant all-the-way winner of the WRA Champs over this trip at Coonamble. Carries the big weights well and gets an economical run. Leading player. INTERVARSITY (14) lightly raced mare with a strong winning record who had plenty up the sleeve on resumption when taking out the H&NW Champs over 1400m at Tamworth. Undefeated second up and the in form Damian Lane rides. TRIBECA STAR (3) hard fit now and reunited with Nash Rawiller from a suitable gate. Tempo suits and will be strong late.

RACE 6 - VINROCK (3) exciting Matt Laurie-trained colt undefeated in two starts. Big jump in grade when crushing his rivals with an all-the-way win over 1400m in the G2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington on March 8. Since fitted with a solid 1050m trial placing at Randwick. Fresh horse on the scene capable of causing an upset. WODETON (2) has the profile of a colt who will relish this trip and further. Game effort in the G1 Golden Slipper when drifting back and striking trouble in the straight to finish a narrow second at Rosehill. Ryan Moore takes the ride and look for him swooping late. RIVELLINO (1) away slowly and forced to chase hard throughout when a game fourth over 1200m in the G1 Golden Slipper. Bowman back to ride and worth noting he's undefeated here. BELLAZAINE (10) stamped urgent from the wide draw when leading them into the straight before fading to finish eighth over 1200m in the G1 Golden Slipper. Minor claims. PRESTIGE FOREVER (4) nice colt with upside.

RACE 7 - JOLIESTAR (7) proven sprinter who beat a handy field second up when a dominant winner of the G1 Newmarket Handicap over 1200m at Flemington. Kept fresh and had plenty up the sleeve when second in an 850m tick over trial. Tempo suits and this is her pet trip. MAGIC TIME (8) tough mare with excellent figures over this course and distance. Keeps getting better with age and she gets the right set up here. Great each way prospect. JIMMYSSTAR (2) dynamic gelding who was slow into stride before returning good closing splits when an unlucky third in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley over 1200m. No excuses here from the wide draw and will be attacking the line late. SUNSHINE IN PARIS (6) unlucky not to have finished closer on resumption when held up badly in the straight to run fourth in the G1 Canterbury Stakes over 1300m at Randwick. Capable of finishing over the top of these. SWITZERLAND (11) disappointed in two runs back and gets the blinkers added today. Keep safe.

RACE 8 - LINEBACKER (20) third up raced closer to the speed when gripping on strongly to hold off Broadsiding and take out the G1 Randwick Guineas over this track and trip in fast time. Can slide across from the draw on the limit and take plenty of holding out. GRINGOTTS (2) comes out of the superior form race leading into this after stalking the good speed to score in a tight three-way finish in the G1 George Ryder Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill. Maps well and has further upside to come. Top three player. TOM KITTEN (3) arrives here in peak condition fourth up and gets an economical run from the draw. Had excuses from the gate when running on late to finish fifth in the G1 George Ryder. Drops in weight and gets his chance. FIRESTORM (19) underrated mare who gave away a big start before circling the field for a tenacious second in the G1 Coolmore over 1500m at Rosehill. Capable of going one better. STEFI MAGNETICA (8) strips fitter and much better effort when sixth in the Ryder. Value chance.

RACE 9 - SHANWAH (4) progressive stayer hoping to secure Ciaron Maher his third ATC Derby. Chasing his fifth straight win after scoring a comfortable victory in the G2 Alister Clark Stakes over 2040m at Moonee Valley. Gets map favours again and expected to run out a strong 2400m. WILLYDOIT (1) classy Tarzino gelding who won with plenty in hand when taking out the G1 New Zealand Derby at Ellerslie on March 8. Will hold a prominent position from the middle draw and adept in all conditions. AELIANA (18) only filly in the field who comes here after finishing a desperately unlucky second to Broadsiding in the G1 Rosehill Guineas over 2000m. Gets a cheap run from the gate and the in form Damian Lane rides. Genuine contender. PLYMOUTH (5) has a sense of timing fourth up after striking trouble in the straight when a gallant fourth in the G1 Rhill Gneas over 2000m. Blinkers off and gets map favours. KING OF THUNDER (8) trip won't pose a problem, and he's come back a much stronger stayer. In the mix.

RACE 10 - LILAC (3) drops back a few grades here after going out fast and fading late to run fourth to Lady Shenandoah in the G1 Surround over 1400m at this track. Kept fresh and goes close today. CLEAN ENERGY (1) has the three wins from four starts and closed off strongly from well back when a gritty winner of the G3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes at Moonee Valley over 1200m. Confidence is high and can keep the winning momentum going. SHE'S GOT PIZZAZZ (4) brings strong form up from Victoria and a win looks imminent after failing narrowly when second in the Vobis Gold Dash at Caulfield over 1200m. Blake Shinn is back aboard after riding her to success on both occasions. Will be attacking the line late. MORE TERRITORIES (6) back in trip and will be ridden for luck from the wide gate. Sure to be running on strongly if they overdo it up front. FLYING FOR FUN (7) speedy filly who will go out fast and give plenty of cheek. Can hold on and run a place at the good odds.
