RACE 1 - ELITE BEAU (5) is on debut for Team Williams with Pike in the saddle after a handy trial win at his only public outing. He's a half-brother to a Listed winner and he showed plenty of ability at his only trial. The Karrakatta Plate is just around the corner, and he can stake his claim for WA's 2YO feature. PYGMALION (2) just missed on debut when running on from the back of the pack at this track and trip. He'll be better for that effort and the bigger field this time may suit. Can improve with the run under his belt and make his presence felt again. XENTARO (7) has shown promising signs at the trials coming into this,s and the time on the day most recently stacked up. Chris Parnham sticks from the trials, and he can play a leading role. SOLAR CHANT (9) has only been sighted once coming into this but she showed very good signs. Wide draw is a niggle but she can feature. SHE'S DA VAL (8) hit the line nicely in her only outing and won't be far away.

RACE 2 - FLAGSHIP (3) was solid first-up behind a good winner who has since gone and won in Saturday company. He's fitter for that run and this looks to shape similarly for him, though there looks to be less depth in this. Can land in a handy position and will be tough to beat. MAGALI MAGIC (8) got a long way back last time out but closed off well to finish 2L off the winner. The form out of that has been franked and she draws a much better gate this time. Can sit closer in the run this time and put her best foot forward. AMARLIME (9) disappointed last time out when never getting into the race, though her fresh win was very good. The rise in trip looks ideal for her now and Pike sticks. Can bounce back to her best. DIVINE IMPACT (1) will be better for the first-up run and while still short of her best trip, she possesses plenty of class. Can put her best foot forward. SESH (2) can give a bold sight from the front once again.

RACE 3 - POLYVANOVA (7) looks a key player in a race that lacks speed and can roll across from the wide draw. She's had a few goes now, but she's among friends and she's much better than she showed last start at Albany. Gets back on top of the ground now and can shed the maiden tag. GINGER AND TONIC (8) has gone under her past couple by narrow margins and looks set for a bold effort once again. She rates highly on recent efforts and while she's back slightly in trip, she'll be finishing off strongly. ELEGANT INDI (11) gets Pike in the saddle first-up after ending her debut campaign in good order at Northam. Fitter for two trials coming in and she'll be right in the finish if she's improved over the break. ROSA CHAMPLAIN (13) can improve third-up into the campaign. TIVACISAURUS (1) is well short of his best trip, though he's trialled well and can be in the finish.

RACE 4 - SMART ENERGY (2) was solid on resumption before a big win over 1500m last start at Pinjarra. He showed good speed there and kicked away to win as a short-priced favourite. Cooper claims 3kgs today and she's beginning to hit her straps. Can repeat the dose third-up into the campaign. HEWILLDOUS (5) got a long way back but he was too good at Geraldton when breaking his maiden. The rise in trip looks to suit him and he shouldn't be too far away from the barrier. He appears the main danger. SKY GOD (6) was solid last start at this track and trip and he'll be fitter for that effort. Likely to get back in the run, but he can finish over the top with a wet sail. ROCK DEE JAY (8) is better than he showed last time out and he can bounce back to form dropping in trip. WIFE SAYS YES (9) is another who can improve now in a suitable race.

RACE 5 - QUEEN OF HAWKS (8) led them up over 1000m at Belmont on resumption and couldn't hold off the winner when favourite. Fitter now and the slight rise in trip is no issue. She was a second-up winner last campaign and from an inside barrier, she'll take plenty of beating. MIGHTY HOSANNA (6) was far too good first-up into the campaign, sitting on the speed and running away to bolt in by 3.8L. Chris Parnham hops off to ride Queen Of Hawks in an interesting move, but definitely one worth noting. Hard to ignore her latest effort and she'll be right in the finish. OCEAN GODDESS (4) was a 25-1 chance on debut but won sharply there. The rating out of that and the sectionals suggest it wasn't a fluke and she can sit closer this time from the better gate. Ticks a few boxes and can make her presence felt. SANCTIONS (5) will be better getting out to this trip and won't be far away. UUKHAI (3) can feature if he runs to recent efforts.

RACE 6 - SHOOTING SPIRIT (1) was a big winner two back before a 2.6L defeat in Saturday grade at Ascot most recently. He's back in grade today and stepping up to the 1200m is no issue. He'll get back from the draw but if he gets back to his best figures, he'll be storming home late in the race. BONDI PLUNGE (2) resumes without a trial coming into this, though she goes good first-up and Milne's is one of the best apprentices in the country. Should land close to the speed and if she's up to the mark fresh, she'll be hard to hold out. SIMPLY THINKIN' (4) bumped into a big winner first-up at Ascot but she was good from midfield there. Fitter now and she boasts a good second-up record. Can land midfield again and run over the top. ZOUBOLTZ (6) disappointed last time out, though his prior form stacks up well. Can be thereabouts. UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (5) trialled nicely coming in and won't be far away.

RACE 7 - HYMNS OF ELADDAIR (2) closed off well but just missed over 1200m here last time out. He was $1.60 there and the form has been solid since that outing. Pike sticks and getting up to 1400m looks a good move. Can improve again and go one better this time. WEMBANYAMA (3) rattled home from well back first-up for the new barn and should be better over this trip, if not further. The inside barrier can see him sit a touch closer and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better. HEY PINO (4) ended up back in the pack last start at Pinjarra but just missed when favourite over this trip. Racing in good order and he can continue to improve. Can feature in the finish. DUG ANOTHER HOLE (1) got back to winning ways last start and he should give a bold sight from the front once again. STARWALKER (5) can improve on the first-up run and make his presence felt.

RACE 8 - SISTER TALK (11) sat up on the speed last start at this track and trip and ran away to win by 1.3L. She was favourite there and put them to the sword. She looks open to further improvement and while she's drawn awkwardly, she can get the job done again. CAMERA ACTION (5) rattled home from well back to just miss in a good race over 1200m here a fortnight ago. She has a good second-up record and the better barrier should suit her. Can sit closer this time and won't be far away. LOVA SESSION (1) never fired a shot first-up when well back throughout and finished 2.4L off the winner. Fitter, further and a better gate are all ticks with Pike sticking. Can put herself in the finish this time. LE MESSAGER (3) was only fair in her trial coming in, but this trip suits fresh. Can feature if she brings her Victorian ratings. YOUGIVEMECHILLS (10) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to form with the blinkers on first time.
