RACE 1 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. VICTORY MELODY (3) resumes here but has tuned up for this with a recent trial victory and does boast a placing around this circuit. Can run a race while fresh. HIDDEN NUGGET (4) is at the races for the first time but looked handy winning a recent Deagon trial and any market support must be noted. SHAQUE D'AMOUR (6) has placed two from three here and has race experience over a few of these. Include from the favourable draw. BORISOVA (9) is sure to be well-educated from the Kendrick barn and must be kept safe.
RACE 2 - COOL MOON (5) was well in the betting on debut but just ran into one better at Doomben. Will have come on with that race day experience now under the belt and where there's smoke there's fire. Should prove very tough to hold out. DECEITFUL MISS (6) put in a career-best performance when runner-up over this track and trip last time out and looks to be improving with racing. Looms as the main danger. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (2) is at the races for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and a watch on betting is advised. UP OVER'N GONE (3) has been thereabouts in both trials to date and should be kept safe on debut. AUSTRALASIA (4) will have derived a stack of benefit from that first-up Grafton effort and looks one for the multiples.
RACE 3 - HE'S A SAINT (2) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in both outings to date and strikes a winnable contest here. Both placings have come over this distance range and Mallyon sticks in the irons. Rates the testing material. TAJALAT (5) has hit the top four in all five starts so far and gets the deadly Gollan/Orman combination. Has to be included in calculations. The well-related SEXY TIME (4) (half to 2xListed winner and G3 placed Excelleration) looked handy winning a recent trial and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. Keep safe on debut. NINJITZOU (3) returned in good order with a close-up second at Doomben and can go right on with the job now. In the mix. PELE PRINCESS (8) has placed around this circuit and may earn some minor money while fresh.
RACE 4 - SWEET PROPOSAL (3) has been right there in all four NSW runs this campaign and should find this assignment a touch easier. Sure to get all the favours from the inside alley and looks the one they all have to run down. SHE'S GOT VEUVE (6) is another who has been plying her trade in tougher Sydney metropolitan contests and will appreciate the drop back in grade here. Respect from the Waller barn. GODZILLA (2) has been improving with each run since joining the new stable and should be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell. Top-three aspirations. JAMAICAN MECRAZY (8) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be ignored. In the mix on best form. ABLE SEAMAN (1) rounds out the selections.
RACE 5 - CAN'T GETWHATIWANT (6) got a well-deserved victory over this track and trip at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Gets the services of Jones in the irons and should be right there when the whips are cracking. I SEE YOU COMING (2) has placed two from two around this circuit and winning rider Rodd is back in the saddle. Rates a serious threat. TREPORTI (3) was a touch plain last time out but the form prior was good enough to feature in a race like this. Can bounce back. CONNEWARRE (9) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be ignored. The well-related ATLANTIC OCEAN (1) (half to G1 winner and stallion The Mission) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.
RACE 6 - HERMANITA (8) grows a leg for rider Fenlon who has three wins and four placings from just eight steers. Again gets the benefit of her 2kg claim and should be right there at the business end. SHOT OF WHISKEY (4) resumes here but has a solid first-up record winning two from three and has revved up for this with a recent trial victory. Can make his presence felt while fresh. ALL INCLUSIVE (11) didn't measure up in Group 2 company before being tipped out for time to mature. Should find this task much easier. BOOM MASTER (6) is next in line in a contest that could turn out to be a solid form race.
RACE 7 - Open race to close out the card. SWITCHBLADE (4) has a handy record over this journey with a win and a placing from two attempts and is racing with a lot of confidence this campaign. Should play a major role in the outcome. JONNY DA WOLF (1) loves this course and distance with a win and two seconds from just three starts and gets the services of Orman to navigate from the sticky draw. Has to be included. EXPRESS PAYMENT (3) strips fitter second-up from the spell and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside marble. Top-three contender. TIETAR (11) resumes here and can run a race while fresh. BOOMSTER (2) next in line from the Schweida yard.
