RACE 1 - Small but competitive contest to kick things off. STRUCK BY (1) has turned things right around in his last three starts and is back near his best. Has only been beaten by narrow margins with the subsequent form stacking right up. Can knock off the fav. LET'S GET DOWN (3) is yet to strike through in his two runs back but has been savaging the line. Peaking now and is sure to take some stopping. MANHATTEN TIMES (2) represents the value play. Was well below his best last start but has peaks that match the top two. Holder replaces the apprentice and is a four-time winner aboard. Expect him to sit off them early and charge hard late. CORK HARBOUR (5) would have to go to a new level to threaten these.

RACE 2 - GOTTA GO GURU (1) has proven to be another promising stayer in the Gluyas ranks. Knuckled down strongly to get the verdict when fending off a stuff challenger. Added trip is no concern. Hat-trick incoming. EIGHT ON THE DOT (6) is yet to strike through this campaign but is knocking on the door. Was doing his best work late again when finishing midfield in the Strathalbyn Cup last week. Nearing peak now and should appreciate the longer journey. MONTEPULCIANO (2) has been mixing his form but has peaks that measure right up. Expect him to settle back early and charge hard late. TEMBU BOY (5) strips rock-hard fit and gets in low at the weights with the 3kg claimer on. Will give backers a sight.

RACE 3 - Tricky. FLAMING NAVY (5) is a U S Navy Flag gelding from the stakes-winner Alcaldesa on debut. Showed positive signs in recent Oakbank trial win when showing good tactical speed. Doesn't look a great deal of depth to this maiden, so he can make a bright start. DISCREETLY BLUE (4) looks best placed out of the raced bunch. Tackled some solid opposition last campaign and his best figures suggest he's the one to beat but there's a question mark over lead-up trial. SEA ROADS (8) chased gamely into second when resuming behind what looked an above average maiden winner here on Boxing Day. Disappointed second-up in a performance that was too bad to be true. Expecting sharp bounce back third-up. KISS AND KABOOM (10) run on gamely up the inside last start to fill the frame at long odds at Murray Bridge. Fitter and is an each-way player. LUDO (1) has had plenty of cracks at the maiden but represents huge each-way value. Worth including in exotics.

RACE 4 - REGAL MIGHT (4) was a determined winner fresh and then showed good tactical speed last start, only to get claimed late. Peaking now and has the map advantage. Should prove very tough to reel in. Sets up a nice bunny for ANGELIC APPEAL (6) who possesses a strong turn of foot and loves this trip. Found herself too far back last start when sent out favourite but ripped home to grab second. Expect her to settle back early and be climbing over their backs at the business end. TAHNEE TREASURE (5) never really looked likely first-up off 322 days but never gave in. Steps out to a winning track and trip and boasts strong peaks but might need another run. PEARL ADIOS (3) drops back to a winning trip on short turnaround and holds claims. Last start winner RICH GINA (7) made a mess of her rivals at Port Lincoln. Keeping safe in exotics.

RACE 5 - EAGLELOU (1) has gone better than his form suggests in his last two when finishing fourth behind two dominant winners. Easier this time and is aided under the big weight with the 2kg claimer reuniting. Kept fresh with a month between runs and only needs to hold his form to take this out. WHATSANAMEGEORGE (3) is yet to strike a winning blow this campaign but has produced some strong efforts. Should appreciate the added trip on quick back-up and is one of the key chances. SAVATOFF (5) is busting to knock off his second win. Rock-hard fit, so should be in this for a long way. EASY BEAST (4) has led them up and fended them off in his last two. Will be giving himself every chance again in front. HATEECH (2) also shoots for the hat-trick and is going too good to ignore.

RACE 6 - DIVINE GLORY (1) kicked things off for the new stable in perfect fashion when launching late. Nowhere near as effective last time when always well back but suspect she can turn things around sharply third-up. Gets a key switch in Opperman. Bold showing anticipated. PURE BLISS (5) bounced back to form last start off a freshen when digging deep to fend off challengers. Gets a nice pull at the weights over Kova who beat her two back. Sure to be very competitive. KOVA (3) is ticking along nicely a five time-winner over this journey. Draws well and is among the key chances. LEFT TURN CLYDE (7) hasn't quite been at his best of late but has peaks that measure up. Nunes sticking from an inside alley deserves respecting.

RACE 7 - HOLMES (2) went much better than anticipated fresh when resuming short of a preferred trip, chasing hard to just miss the bob. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and will appreciate the added journey. The one to beat. HARD PRINCE (5) was well below his best last start when failing to finish off. Willing to forgive on efforts prior and the longer trip should suit. MONSEAGLE (10) has been leading them up but just struggling to hold on. Should go forward again and could steal in on quick back-up. MARCOLT (1) could land in a tricky spot from the low draw but is one to look out for charging late. I'M KENNY (8) is a distance specialist and a tough horse to run down on his day. Keeping safe.

RACE 8 - GLOBAL TURN (7) ran on solidly down the outside to just miss the winner two weeks ago at Murray Bridge. Rates highly on best figures and strips rock-hard fit from a favourable draw. Leading player. LUCKY FORTUNA (3) has improved with each run under her belt this campaign. Nearing peak now and should be giving herself every chance up on speed over a favoured trip. SHISUTA BO (4) couldn't bring up the hat-trick last start but was far from disgraced. Ticks a lot of boxes and needs to be taken seriously. STRATUM PRIDE (2) is knocking on the door but will land in a tricky spot from the draw and is back in trip. Expect to her doing her best work late.

RACE 9 - FINE FUTURE (8) came from a long way back to just miss the frame last start when rattling late. Strips rock-hard fit now and is drawn to take closer order. Will take some stitching. KING MOYA (12) never got a fair crack at them late when held up behind runners. Draws to be running on again third-up and with even luck he can get the job done. DECLARED (3) stuck on gamely into the frame when resuming over 1000m at Murray Bridge. Has kept the legs ticking over with a Strathalbyn trial and shoulders a handy second-up record. One of the key chances. ROKABYE WARRIOR (11) returns and looks to have come back in nice order off the back of narrow Oakbank trial placings. Carries a feather on his back with the 2kg claimer engaged and is a genuine each-way player. SABERMETRIC (10) is ticking along nicely and deserves to be included in the chances.
