RACE 1 - Tricky race to kick off the card with many of these at the races for the first time. Of the raced brigade WHATTA MISSION (5) was well in the betting when just missing the placings at Mackay on debut before just running into one better at the Sunny Coast last time out. Looks to be improving with racing and has experience over most of these. Rates the testing material. The well-related PROFOUNDLY (8) (half to G3 winner Sebonack) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and is sure to be well-educated from the Freedman camp. Keep safe. SUNRAYS (10) is another on debut and any market support must be noted. BENT BRIDGE (1) gets Orman on board from the inside alley and has to be included. STEFFI ELECTRICA (9) next in line.

RACE 2 - BRAZEN ACT (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in five of six starts this preparation and strikes a winnable contest here. Has placed two from two over this distance range and looks the one they all have to run down. CALL OUT (3) wasn't disgraced at Eagle Farm on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Can improve enough to play a role in the outcome. BUSKER (2) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and will be well-prepared being out of the Heathcote yard. Respect any market confidence. TICKLE MY TOSEN (7) wasn't too far away here on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. In the mix with natural improvement. The well-related TEN GOOD REASONS (6) (half to G2 winner and 2xG1 placed Osipenko) best of the rest.

RACE 3 - WYNETTE (14) showed ability placing in all three outings in her first preparation before being tipped out for time to mature. Has since revved up for this with a recent trial victory and Graham returns to the irons. Rates the testing material. ANNIE ONE READY (1) is at the races for the first time but looked handy winning a Sunny Coast trial and Orman stays on board for race day. Keep very safe on debut. FLASH DRIVE (8) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. SUSPICIOUS LOVE (11) was well in the market on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. Worth another chance. COPENHAGEN CAT (6) next in line with race experience in the locker.

RACE 4 - SHABOOH SHALAA (4) resumes here but the form he showed in his first campaign was good enough to feature in a race like this. Gets Jones on top and trust that Vandyke will have forward enough to be playing a major role in the finish. RHUVAAL (3) has placed four of six overall and will strip fitter second-up from the break. Placed to advantage and rates a key runner. HEADHUNTER (6) just ran into one better at Eagle Farm on debut and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Top-three aspirations. BRING ME SAKI (1) has placed over this distance range and looks one for the multiples. MURMURS (7) gets the Waller/Orman combination and shouldn't be ignored.

RACE 5 - SHADOW POWER (1) is a promising gelding who has only missed a drum once in five career starts and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Strips fitter third-up and gets 2kg weight relief with the claim. Will prove very hard to toss. Former Victorian SACRED BULL (12) just missed the placings when having his first local outing and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Respect from the Bruce yard. CLIPPER SHIP (3) has been thereabouts in all four runs since joining the new stable and may earn some minor money. FIVE RINGS (4) draws the inside alley and looks one for the exotics. ARCHER'S GAME (8) doesn't know how to run a bad race and can trouble the judge again with the claim.

RACE 6 - BANANA SLIDE (13) returned in fine fashion with a solid win at the Sunshine Coast and will have derived a stack of confidence from that first-up victory. Winning hoop Wilson-Taylor stays in the stirrups and should be going very close again. NIGHTSTICK (8) is one from one over this mile journey and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Looms as the main danger. COUNTER (5) loves racing here at Doomben with two wins and a placing from just three attempts. Respect the Waller/Orman combination. WOWIT'S WILLYWONKA (7) has placed three of his past four and is a winner over this course and distance. In the mix on best form. THESECONDATPORTSEA (6) next in line from the inside marble.

RACE 7 - AUTUMNGIRL (15) hails from a handy family (half to QLD Oaks placegetter Miss Joelene) and couldn't have been more impressive shedding her maiden tag at Ipswich when resuming. Gets Orman back on board from the favourable draw and another strong showing would not surprise. Former NSW galloper INFLUENTIAL (5) is having his first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what he faced down south. Can run a race while fresh. TEESANDCEES APPLY (13) is a winner over this distance range and gets some weight off with the claim. Top-three candidate. HEMAN (4) strips fitter third-up from the spell and looks one for the exotics players. JULIETA (16) rounds out the selections.

RACE 8 - Looks a wide open affair to close out the card. CASPERNOVA (3) grows a leg for hoop Duric who has two wins and a placing from just three steers and will be high on confidence following that first-up victory. Drawn to get all the favours in running from the inside alley and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. Former Victorian INDAZA (15) will find this easier than what she faced down south and is worth including with the Gollan/Jones combination. BILLY'S BRO (2) gets Orman on top from the low draw and must be considered. KWANI (1) is a consistent conveyance who goes well for Tilley. In the mix. ROSE OF SHIRAZ (12) will be ready to peak now fourth-up and can play a role in the outcome up on speed.
