RACE 1 - The maiden stayers kick us off. MISS DYNAMO (3) has been knocking on the door hitting the top-four in all four outings to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Gets 3kg weight relief with the claim and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Ticks plenty of boxes. KHANT QUIT (10) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up at the past three starts. Looms as the main danger. MISS REILLY (6) has been thereabouts in recent efforts and must be respected from the Waller barn. Top-three candidate. VANGUARD LEGEND (5) simply didn't handle the Heavy surface when resuming and is much better than that run suggests. Worth another chance. BARGARA BOUND (4) next in line in a race with only a handful of chances.
RACE 2 - Former NSW galloper OUR ORATOR (3) has been right there in both runs since joining the new stable and looks to be nearing another victory. Will be rock-hard fit for this and should be in it for a long way. MEDICAL AUTOCRAT (5) strips fitter third-up from the break, draws the inside alley and gets some weight off with the 2kg claim. Sure to measure up. ARIZONA DREAMING (1) has placed three of five around this circuit and is usually thereabouts. Top-three credentials. The well-related HEREDITARY (7) (full to G1 winner Ugo Foscolo) has placed four from six over this course and distance and is a must for the multiples. CONNECTICUT (2) next in line.
RACE 3 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade JUST PRECIOUS (7) placed in both metropolitan efforts in her first preparation before being tipped out for time to furnish. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and gets some weight relief with the claim. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. OOHLALOUVRE (10) has placed two of four over this course and distance and can play a role in the finish. QUERIDA (12) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may run a race at odds. AYE EYE BOOM (9) has been given time to mature since the debut effort and may earn some minor money. JUDY JETSON (6) is at the races for the first time and any market confidence must be noted.
RACE 4 - JUST FLYING (1) is racing in a rich vein of form this campaign with two wins and a second from three starts and looks ready for the mile journey now. Gets 2kg off with the claim and should be going very close again. The penny has dropped for MR O'REILLY (2) who has strung two wins together on the bounce and is racing with a lot of confidence. Expected to be right there when the judge calls a halt. LAVONI (5) is a consistent conveyance who has remarkably hit the top five in all 12 starts to date. Has to be included in calculations. I'M HEROIC (3) has been plying his trade in harder contests and should find this assignment much more to his liking. Worth another chance.
RACE 5 - THE FIXER (4) grows a leg for Bayliss who has three wins and a placing from just five steers and is racing very consistently this time in work. Is three from three around this circuit and should give backers a sight up on speed. JAYANTHI (5) is resuming here but the form she showed when last in work was good enough to play a role in this. Can run a race while fresh. LION CLASS (8) is one from one over this track and trip, gets 2kg off, and draws the inside marble. Ticks a few boxes. I SEE YOU COMING (1) is a two-time winner over this distance range and strips fitter third-up from the spell. In the mix on best form.
RACE 6 - KILNA (3) went down by the narrowest of margins at Ipswich before being tipped out for time to mature. Tuned up for this with two recent trial victories and gets some weight off with the claim. Can return a winner. MALOTRU (6) has placed over this track and trip and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Respect from the Bruce barn. BOROGORU (9) will have taken benefit from that first-up hit-out and is another to get some weight relief. In the mix. GRAPE EXPECTATIONS (18) draws the the inside alley and may earn a cheque. Gollan's import CHILLAXING (1) will be hitting the line with gusto and is next in line.
RACE 7 - Looks a race with a stack of chances. TOUCH OF GRACIE (12) is a consistent conveyance hitting the top five in all 12 starts since joining the new stable. Doesn't know how to put in a poor one and has to be included in calculations. LOOSE UNIT (4) goes well here on his home circuit with a win and a further 13 placings from 17 starts. A must for the exotics players. LADY NIKSTER (16) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will derive a bunch of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Respect from the Waller stable. HILLCREST AVENUE (7) resumes here and may run a race while fresh. BOLSHEVIC ROAD (17) is a last-start winner who cannot be ignored.
RACE 8 - Open race to close out the card. CAXTON LASS (10) broke the maiden status over this track and trip when resuming and will take a lot of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim and should be playing a major role in the outcome. BELEGATO (15) is yet to miss a drum in three attempts over this course and distance and will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell. Rates a serious contender. PLATINUM LIES (12) has hit the frame at her past three outings here and looks to be building up to another win. Top-three candidate. PINK CASHMERE (7) has placed three of four around this circuit and may make her presence felt with any luck in running. ARTIE PANTZ (9) next best with Rodd on board from the low draw.
