The sixth race at Echuca is a Benchmark 58 handicap set to take place over 1200m.

A soft 6 track is expected, with Hanging Rock set to have her supporters on her return from a spell.

The filly broke her maiden in an 1175m contest held on a good 4 track at Albury in October, prior to finishing unplaced in two metro contests.

The second of those metro contests saw her beaten just over three lengths when fifth of seven in a 1400m Benchmark 70 handicap at Caulfield in December.

The youngster has changed trainer since that effort and she looks opposable jumping from a wide barrier in this event.

The Patrick Payne-trained GAME AS NED is the pick in this contest, having demonstrated plenty of ability when runner-up at this venue on debut in November.

The selection contested a 1000m maiden that day and having raced from off the pace on a good 4 track that day was spelled subsequently.

The pick broke her maiden first up this prep when coming home over half-a-length clear of her rivals in a 10-runner 1000m maiden at this venue at the start of last month.

The soft 6 track appeared no issue when the daughter of Toronado placed third in a seven-runner Class 1 1200m handicap at Pakenham subsequently.

Tom Prebble takes a valuable one-and-a-half-kilograms off her back and his mount looks capable of recording a victory for trainer Patrick Payne.

Alliance to return with Wyong win

The finale at Wyong is a 1200m Benchmark 64 handicap set to take place on a soft 6 surface.

Battle Of Vienna is expected to have his supporters having demonstrated solid wet track form this prep.

The three-year-old has made three starts on wet tracks, following up a narrow win in an 1100m maiden at Gosford in April with a close third over 1300m at Scone subsequently.

The gelding raced on a soft 5 track on each occasion and encountered similar going when last of seven, beaten just over two lengths at Canterbury on 29th May.

Peter & Paul Snowden's representative has a wide alley to overcome here, so WORLD ALLIANCE is preferred on this occasion.

Matthew Smith's gelding showed good form earlier this campaign, following up a win at Beaumont with placed efforts at Hawkesbury and Beaumont.

The second of those placings came when beaten one-and-a-half-lengths into third in a 1350m Benchmark 64 handicap at Beaumont on 26th December.

World Alliance raced on a soft 7 surface that day and met with interference when finishing fourth in a 1400m Benchmark 72 handicap at Warwick Farm the following month.

The son of Rubick returns from a spell here but boasts a good first up record, having won on his return in both previous preps and he is taken to resume with a win.

Field for Nowra glory

The fourth at Nowra is an interesting 1000m Benchmark 66 handicap expected to take place on a heavy 10 surface.

CRUIZINGDAFIELD appeals here with Jade Lloyd's mount having demonstrated good form in her two starts this prep.

The first of those saw her register a fourth when beaten just over one-and-a-half-lengths in a 1000m Class 3 handicap at Wagga at the start of last month.

The pick raced on a good 4 track when making her first start in well over 18 months that day and followed up with a third in a Parkes Class 2 event over 1200m.

Scott Collings' filly should have no issues with the heavy 10 going here, having broken her maiden in similar conditions on the Kensington track at Randwick back in July 2022.

The Deep Filed filly has a good barrier here and looks up to doubling her career tally.
