Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Coffs Harbour, Rockhampton, Seymour, Port Augusta, Wagga, Sunshine coast and Cranbourne.

COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 4 @ 1:50 PM

RUBI'S SERVE (9) missed the frame for the first time in her four-start career when a closing fifth over 1000m at Scone last time out. Raced at or around this trip at the previous two runs and was very competitive at Newcastle. Perfectly placed back in a six-furlong country maiden. IDOL SHOT (6) was runner-up on debut at Taree then struggled in a better maiden at Gosford last start. Certainly worth another chance in this more suitable contest. TSUNODA (4) raced wide but found enough to hold on for third in an impressive return recently over 1115m at Grafton. Races well here and looks hard to beat with that run under his belt. DEE STORMED (1) chased hard but found the winner far too good when fresh from a spell for a new stable over 1115m at Grafton last start. Should be thereabouts. SHUKKAS (10) is a 44-start maiden with each-way claims after a sound return last time.
SELECTIONS: Hard to go past Rubi's Serve.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 4 @ 12:26 PM

DESERT KOBY (1) is a leader who has won 2/3 during this preparation and did it easily off a wide gate in a Mackay 60 last time. He has a soft barrier today and the extra metres will hold no fears. Fitter again and he should be taking the next step. STREET GOD (3) resumed further improvement easily winning a 55 and then didn't have the best of it in a 65. He's trialled well since and gets a key jockey switch to Stanley replacing the apprentice. He can get back on track. MOUNT MARGARET (6) resumes off an easy Maiden win and won a recent trial big. The filly will be naturally improved and races forward. A bold effort is likely. DRAGON'S SNIP (2) resumed this grade and needed the outing. Wiggins is reunited and he'd be in the finish at best.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Desert Koby.

SEYMOUR: RACE 5 @ 2:35 PM

Competitive. MOON LIGHTNING (6) was spelled off the expected Maiden win over this distance and found one better first-up over 1500m. She's further improved and will push forward and sit handy. Fitter and with average luck can go one better. DAY IN HEAVEN (4) dropped back to this distance and narrowly missed at Pakenham seeking the hat-trick. She also has a sticky gate but keeps getting better. A decent chance. PARIS AFFAIR (2) placed at Geelong first-up over 1525m and is proven second-up. Not sure where he ends up from an inside barrier but fitter is a genuine chance. KISS ME NED (5) led and found a place at Echuca over this distance and will be better for it. In good hands and is also a hope.
SELECTIONS: Backing Moon Lightning.

PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 6 @ 4:10 PM

AL RANCHERO (3) has hit the line nicely in his three resuming efforts, missing by the barest of margins when sent out favourite here a fortnight ago. Cherry-ripe now and should take some stitching. FAIR LEGACY (4) made a complete mess of them in her maiden when leading pillar-to-post here. Confidence boosting win and a similar effort will have her hard to reel in. MARINA (8) hasn't won for a long time but showed signs of life last start when holding on bravely for fourth in a blanket finish. Keep very safe. HARBOURING (2) was far from his best last start when up in grade but is better suited this time. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Al Ranchero to win.

WAGGA: RACE 8 @ 4:34 PM

LETME ENTERTAINYOU (4) broke through for an overdue victory when a dominant on-pace winner over 1200m at Wagga Riverside six days ago. Looks up to the rise in grade and returned good figures at the latest. Hard to stop again. CHOP THE ICE (2) disappointed as fav when giving away a big start before closing late to finish fourth over 1080m at Canberra Acton on May 17. Improver who will need a bit of luck from the gate. STUPENDO (1) racing well and due for a change of luck on the quick back-up. Gets weight relief with the claim here and handles the conditions. Looks a serious player. JORDY GIRL (3) returns from a 12-week spell with a solid wet track record. Has excellent fresh stats and expected to take a hand in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Letme Entertainyou to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 4:43 PM

MISSILE ONE (10) is a very consistent galloper who has yet to miss the top five in eight career starts and this is not an overly strong affair. Has a handy record over this sprint journey and must be respected from the Bruce stable. Should be right there at the business end. MONEY MAN (1) is a two-time winner around this circuit and gets 1.5kg off. Can run a race while fresh. CURRY LEGEND (12) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and gets in at the minimum with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. GENERAL BARCA (2) is having his first run for the new stable and any market confidence must be noted. TAMSIN (14) will be at peak fitness now and may trouble the judge.
SELECTIONS: Missile One to win.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 4 @ 6:45 PM

SUANCES (11) debuted over 1200m at Mornington when met with support and ran well for third, beaten 1.5 lengths as a $4 chance. Better for that and in good hands. Any extra ground will suit the daughter of The Autumn Sun. Should go close. JASKIER (4) resumed on a heavy track at Geelong and ran well for third. Should improve off that and has upside. GULFSTATE (12) is a Pride Of Dubai 2yo on debut. Trained here, respect the stable's decision to run against the older horses. COUS COUS (6) is a filly by Ocean Park on debut who can run well.
SELECTIONS: Suances to win.
