Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Muswellbrook and Mornington.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 6 @ 2:50 PM
LEASE (6) only the one win from 36 starts and finds his race today. Stuck on well with the claim when second over 1600m at Wyong on May 2. Will take catching in this grade from the good gate. EXTERNUS (2) settled well back from a good draw before warming up late when a plugging fourth over 1410m at Orange on April 19. Month between runs at latest and strips fitter now. CALL ME TERRY (5) back for second prep when a fast-finishing winner over 1280m at this track on April 21. Confidence is high now and can play a leading role again. LUNARTIE (1) hard fit now and looks close to another victory after finishing second over 1412m at Taree on April 28. Look for him charging late.

MORNINGTON: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM
SOLVERE (1) recorded a third straight minor placing when runner-up over 1300m at Echuca ten days ago. Good weight carrier who has an outstanding record at this trip. Appeals as the one to beat. GATOR (7) finally clinched his maiden win last time out, getting the verdict narrowly over this course and distance. Needs a bit of luck from the wide gate but should be highly competitive. GUSMAO (3) didn't do a great deal first-up at Geelong but he drops in grade today and should give this a shake. ROCKOVER (11) is not terribly reliable but if he replicates his close second here at this trip two runs back he will be in the thick of things. RIVERSIDE SPECIAL (8) is capable of a top-three finish first-up from a brief spell.
