If Chris Bieg's runners on Saturday were a footy team, the coach's enthusiasm about them could be described as 'up and about', as the South Australian conditioner believes he may have found the deal race for one in particular, Annihilate.

The five-year-old will line-up alongside stablemate Voltage Point in the Mulch N More Handicap over 1400-metres at Murray Bridge with the former ready to win again and the latter needing to settle better to also be in the money.

Annihilate won at Morphettville on May 3 when taking out the Autumn Series Final (1600m) and steps back in trip this time.

"I would like to have split them in different races as this is the ideal race for Annihilate," Bieg said.

"He's thriving at the moment and we have put the gaps between runs and with access to the beach and we have been keeping him fresh.

"He's a happy horse."

Voltage Point also won on that card but a third placing last Saturday on the Parks track over 1300m has presented some added challenges.

"Voltage Point has been overracing a little bit and I wanted to back him up over the 1400 just to see if last week's run might have taken the edge off him ever so slightly and relax a bit better," he added.

"If not, we'll go back to 1200-metres in a fortnight. We're experimenting a bit."

The Will Clarken and Nicki O'Shea-trained Sachem holds favouritism in what is the final event of the day at $6 with Annihilate at $6.50 and Voltage Point at $8.

Earlier on the card, Bieg has $6 chance Tripod Terror in the Prime Irrigation Handicap (1200m).

The consistent galloper has not missed a placing in his last five starts including his second placing on May 10 at Morphettville which was his first run since March 22.

"He had a bit of foot problem which has forced him to have time between runs," Bieg said.

"He took him to Port Lincoln to try and have a bit of a kill but he did a lot wrong so we've changed his gear and since that he has been going well.

"He arguably should have won the Magic Millions 3&4YO Classic at Murray Bridge in March and that was against older horses, too."

Bieg also has Overstrike engaged on the program and is hoping that Justin Potter can help the galloper settle better in his racing.
